I ordered this cutting board to replace some old plastic cutting mats. This has now become my regular cutting board. I ordered another board from this company that had wood on one side and plastic on the other, and while I like that one as well, this one is lighter weight so I find myself grabbing it more often. I gave this 4 stars for a couple of reasons. First, I wish this was a little bit larger or that they had an option to buy a larger one. Being used to the larger cutting mats, I like having extra space to hold food as I cut. Second, I’m not overly fond of the color. I would prefer a gray colored option as taupe doesn’t go with my color scheme. Otherwise, this thing is great. Holds up to chopping with good knives and is easy to wipe down and clean. I like the slightly slanted shape that holds water and juice as it helps keep from making a mess on my counters. If they made a larger gray version, I’d buy that thing in a heartbeat. Recommended!

This is a really nice cutting board for fruits & anything else that does not require cutting anything thick or for meat. When cutting meat it can be difficult bc when you press down on the board you'll find that there is no hard backing. In other words the design is such that both sides do not touch the counter. It has a nice slant on both sides w/ rubber edging for any juice to run down but its bc of this slant that does not allow you to press hard as when cutting tri tip for instance. Otherwise it's nice for fruits & other items that do not require you to apply pressure.

I purchased this to replace my old cutting board that absorbed odors. I haven't noticed this new one absorbing odors as of yet. It does stain when cutting seasoned cooked chicken, red bell peppers or anything with a strong pigment. After washing the stain remains but not a deal breaker for me. The board absorbs cut scores when cutting on it and does not self-heal so there are a lot of scratches in the board now. The grooves for grating garlic did not work well for me. Overall it does what I want it to do and works for me. Not a bad price if I end up having to replace it in a year.

Good for buttering toast when you only have the use of one hand.

I was sick of buying wood cutting boards that would split or curve over time. I decided to switch to this plastic one. It has a non slip rubberized bumper that keeps it stable on my countertop. it is slightly sloped so you can cut something and then push it into a corner. It also comes with a handle for carrying and a small area of protruding little teeth to grate garlic or ginger. Well designed and a good price.

This is the first cutting board I have purchased in 10 years. I love is. The surface is rough enough so that meats and vegetables do not slip. It is easy to clean with soap and water or even just a quick rinse. If you're cutting something juicy the liquid will not run off the edge of the board as has happened with all my other cutting boards.
