What isn't silicone tubing good for? Well, it can't make the same bend radius in the same plane without kinking as the factory corrugated vinyl hose, and also transmits a heck of a lot more noise, but that one crumbled apart at the corrugations when being removed due to a pinhole leak right before the 10 year mark, and is ridiculously expensive.

This silicone hose has been great. I use it in my jerry can water jugs to pump water. There has been no effect to the taste or quality of the water.

It take way too long to get this item. I will not buy again. I still don’t have the item after approx 2 months waiting. I don"t recommended this product. sell said it is in the country that was 10 plus days ago. still not here.
