Great value and helping relieve my pain
I developed posterior tibial tendonitis in my ankle and after wearing a aircast boot for a month, I have been in physical therapy for several months with minimal relief. I have had to stop my neighborhood walks, cycling, and other physical activities. Even driving has been so painful. I have been so frustrated until the PT I work with suggested trying new insoles in my shoes and so out of desperation I decided to try these, as they felt low risk price-wise and the reviews are solid. I have gotten the most relief from these insoles! In a matter of a couple weeks I am finally making progress in physical therapy and the pain has gone down drastically. I have a ways to go, but without these insoles I would have continued to make zero/little progress. At my last doctor's appointment, I showed her the insoles to confirm with her they'd be appropriate for my foot type and injury. She not only approved, but notated the type and brand to refer to other patients. I highly recommend that you follow the instructions for breaking these in, I upped the hour increments over 8 days until I could wear them for 8 hours on the 8th day. Your feet will be a little tender as they adjust but that is normal. Now my feet feel great in them all day. They are best suited for athletic shoes as they are bulky, I've purchased a slim pair from a different brand for dress shoes but will continue to use these and replace as needed.

Good Insole I’d Buy Again
I’ll start by saying Ive tried many different orthotic insert brands with claims they work/support as well as a custom orthotic for feet. I have not found that to be true of any of them nor frankly do I expect that. Like our bodies our feet are unique to each of us so I personally find my custom orthotics while very expensive are more effective at mitigating my foot pain. That said, I have now used these inserts in one of my hiking shoes for 3 hikes of 2.5-5 miles each. For a non custom orthotic these are one of the best Ive ever tried. I like many have suffered from plantar fasciitis and have tried many other brands with claims to treat that. I have bought several cheaper brands like RBX which are effective but disposable with short life spans. At under $10 though they do a nice job for say simple walkers or work shoes. These I put in my hiking shoes which endure much more rigorous exercise. I found while walking slower (maybe 2 mph and taking pictures) these as close to being as effective as my custom orthotics as I’ve ever tried. However, tonight I picked up the pace & walked closer to 4 MPH and the increased speed and pounding was noticed. Admittedly it is noticed in my custom orthotics as well but they are much firmer with stronger support. I like the metatarsal bubble on these inserts as my biggest pain points are usually forefoot & arch and that bubble helps the forefoot a lot when not to aggressive with your hiking. All in all it’s a above average insert more costly than some cheaper brands but still very reasonable compared to others in the market. I’ll buy these again specifically for hiking but when I plan for longer more grueling hikes I’ll use my custom orthotics. It’s nice to have these in another shoe so I don’t always have to swap my custom orthotics into a different shoe.

Great product, Great price
I absolutely love these and my whole family now uses them. It supports your arches and has the metarsal pad. It provides pain relief for ball of the foot pain. They're very durable, I've had no breakdown in support after wearing them almost daily for a year. I've purchased over 10 pairs of these now and they fit all the shoes we've tried them in.

Weird arch placement.
I had previously bought a different brand of supporting insoles, and those worked great, but cost $50, so I decided to try these. I guess I will end up spending more money since these didn't work.First issue is that these are quite wide, so they deform the sides of my sneakers. But the second and decisive factor is the placement of the arch support; it is placed too far behind , so instead of supporting the arch, it goes from half the arch to the beginning of the heel, and it makes my instep and even my knees hurt.

If this is your first time with this kind of orthotic, ease into it. There is an adjustment period.
I have high arches and suffer from Morton's Neuroma if I wear shoes without proper arch support. My podiatrist recommended an orthotic like this for me, and I purchased ones made by New Balance. I remember when I first got them, that they were a little uncomfortable to walk on (like you have a big rock in your shoe). My doctor said to take it slow at first with this type of orthotic and wear it for a few hours a day. Eventually you get to the point that you do not even realize that they are there (except that your neuroma inflammation no longer rears it's painful , ugly head). I got some new shoes recently, and wanted the same style orthotic. The New Balance one's are great, but they cost more than the shoes. I thought I would give this one a try, and I'm very happy to report that they work well, and appear to be just as good as the much more expensive New Balance orthotic. I've not had them long enough to comment on their durability, but they look to be of very good quality, and at this price point, even if they last 1/3 the time as my other orthotic, I will be money ahead. I noticed that the negative reviews all mention that the "bump" in the middle of the orthotic caused pain. I think that is just a normal part of the acclimation process for most people. If this is your first time with an orthotic like this, gradually build up the time you wear it, and soon you will not even notice the bump. I hope this review helps your decision making.

walk on toes
A few years ago an orthohtic that looked very much like these was made with a bump in the spotthat padded the transverse fasciae that causes the problem. These, however, pad the heel which causesyou to walk on your toes. This quickly tires my legs. Why can''t someone make these the correct way?
