When it comes to turmeric tea, Taka Turmeric which is based in Cape Town, South Africa delivers.Where many countries go to India, Taka Turmeric found out that only a small percentage of Turmeric is organically and ethically grown and comes in different grades (similar to China's Pu-erh teas) and the amount of curcumin (The active ingredient in turmeric) can vary.And so the company has learned to source the very best herbs and spices to create a a golden synergy of taste and health.For those not familiar with turmeric, it is great for anti-inflammatory, as an antioxidant, antibiotic, aids in metabolism and supports weight management, aids in arthritis, helps heals stomach, helps soothes coughs and asthma and more.The tea I am reviewing is Taka Turmeric's Ginger Lemon Tea and I have to say that I love this tea.  The turmeric taste is not overbearing, but you can taste the turmeric.With a little black pepper and coconut, the tea is absolutely delicious and is made of 100% organic ingredients: Turmeric, Ginger, Lemon Peel, Grated Coconut, Rose Hip, Fenugreek and Black Pepper.I tend to avoid bagged tea, as I'm more of a loose leaf tea drinker, but I have to say, Taka Turmeric teas are among the best tea bag-based teas out there.You get about 15 unbleached tea bags in one box and it's under $7! At a great price and a great tasting tea!  Taka Turmeric Ginger Lemon Tea is highly recommended!

I received Taka Turmeric Tea today and the box was slightly damaged, which must have happened with the carrier. I was so excited as I thought ginger and lemon plus turmeric would taste great. But this tea only tasted of turmeric and not ginger nor lemon. I have to admit that I was disappointed. I enjoy ginger tea, but turmeric tea is normal to me even though I have heard a lot of health benefits for it. This tea was better than the previous turmeric tea I had had but still not that great in my opinion. If you like turmeric tea this is great as one bag is good for 2-3 cups depending how strong you like your tea, but don’t expect the ginger flavor.Overall, it has a decent price and a good taste of turmeric, but I personally found the missing taste of ginger and lemon to. I would recommend only if you expect the turmeric taste.

I find it very satisfying.Amazon gave me a box of this tea to review. But I liked it so much I immediately ordered another box, personally financed.

This is the third of this Brand's yes that I have tried and while I found the other two to be very robust in flavor and strong, strong enough to get to cups out of one tea bag, I can not say the same for this Lemon and Ginger flavor. I found I needed to steep this for quite a bit longer and I definitely didb't get two good strong cups or should I say mugs with this tea.With that said, it does taste good once it's steeped long enough. I can definitely taste the turmeric and the ginger, not so much the lemon. I like it but have had better lemon and ginger teas. I recommend this tea for the turmeric benefits more so than the lemon and ginger benefits as you can get that with other better option. I still do recommend it if you are looking for a turmeric tea though, but I do prefer some of their other offerings better.

This tea smells so much like an herbalist shop that I actually double checked to make sure the ingredients didn't include ginseng (they don't).The scent is strongly herbal/root, which is not at all the same as herbal leaf. The taste is dominated by ginger and pepper, but not so strong as to be undrinkable (using a measured cup of water right off boil, steeped for five minutes).It is possible to do multiple infusions of the same bag, though the flavor does get weaker.

I recently got some coffee that had turmic infused in it, so I decided to get some tea as well. This tea has a strong taste of turmeric, which is not my favorite flavor, but the ginger and lemon add some much-needed balance. I like that it is organic, as well. This isn't my relaxing cup of tea for the afternoon, it's the "starting off the day with the vitamins I need" cup of tea. Ginger and lemon are also helpful for digestion.Hope you found this review helpful!

I’m at an age were retirement is far behind me. My grandson is a young upstart 30-something. We are both fans of turmeric tea. I started using it several years ago to help with aches and pains caused by inflammation. He likes it for the taste. We’ve both enjoyed these Taka turmeric tea blends.There are several flavors available: Ginger Lemon, Rooibos Vanilla, and Hibiscus Cinnamon. All of the flavors are mild and understated with the primary flavor being the herbal taste of turmeric. The drink is perfect for a before bed beverage that allows you to wind down. I do with the flavors were more pronounced.

My son bought me these as I take curcumin supplements for arthiritis. I was dubious first as I thought the tea would have an unpleasant powdery turmeric taste but the balance of turmeric ginger and pepper I think is just right. It’s a lovely tea, very calming. I now look forward to chilling with a daily cup and buy this brand regularly.Theres only 15 bags in the pack but I think the price is fair for the quality.

The tea bag is good but the handling when transporting was not good the box was smashed and most of the tea bags were punctured and out of the box

I purchased this item from Amazon for me and my mother as we heard that Turmeric Tea was good for people with digestion or other health issues and we could not find any similar to this on the high street shops. This Turmeric Tea is very good and with it's mixed flours of ginger and lemon makes it quite unique especially those who like strong flavoured tea, which I would highly recommend this product to. You can also add some honey for a bit of natural sweetness and this tea will be perfect for you to enjoy any time. The box contain 15 tea bags and all you have to do in put 1 teabag in your cup, pour some hot water in, stir well and let it sip for a maximum of 5 minutes and enjoy without milk. Best natural turmeric tea me and my family had ever tasted with good value too.

I didn't like the flavour. But that's not to say it isnt a nice tea.

love the addition of black pepper and coconut oil, makes these feel very luxurious
