These scissors work great for cutting herbs. The blades are sharped and are aligned well with each other. The material of the handle is a grippy rubber like material on the gray part and a smoother plastic on the green part. The sheath for the blades fits on well. It clips into place, so it will stay on when you are not using it. You can use the end of the sheath as a comb to remove bits of herb that get stuck between the blade, and this works better than I first expected it to. These scissors are a very useful and affordable kitchen product for someone who uses a lot of fresh herbs. I'm interested to see how they hold up over time, because I'm not sure how to go about sharpening the blades.It also comes with the bonus gift of super tiny blue regular scissors. These feel a little flimsy, but hey, it's a free gift. When I saw them my first thought was that they were a perfect size to carry in a purse in case of scissor related emergencies.I was sold this product at a discounted price in exchange for my honest review. These work decently, aside from the fact that if the herbs you're cutting are even slightly damp they tend to get stuck in between each set of blades and can be kind of a pain to fish out. This can clog up the scissors and make it necessary to undo the clog before continuing on with cutting.The blades themselves are fairly sharp and cut well, and the scissors are comfortable to hold. The most impressive part of these scissors was definitely the price. For under $5, I expected something much cheaper. These are fairly high quality and will get regular use in my kitchen since I tend to use a lot of fresh herbs.I did get a free gift (a very small pair of blue-handled scissors) with my purchase, but that doesn't sway my vote as I can't imagine using them frequently and they feel rather cheap. But, free is free and the scissors alone deserve 3.5 out of 5 stars, in my opinion.

These are useless. Its a great concept. My older mother thought she could pick her basil and instead of chopping with her hands. But, all it really does is mush them together and get stuck in the blades. I did not give the merchant a chance to rectify this which is my fault. I figured the 7 bucks wasnt worth the hassle.

Works wonderfully well and as long as we stick to herbs it cleans itself out super easy. We hardly ever need to use the supplied blade clearing tool. I love it! Careful. Blades are sharp! and that's a good thing. Just remember that when you are tempted to slide off any snipped herb from the cutting surface. This tool helps us to effortlessly smother anything we want with our favorite herbs.There are a lot of scissors out there. This one is the one you want. The scissors that come with a brush--the brush wears out easily. The tool that comes with this one is great and comes without the pitfalls of the brush.

Seemed cute ... but as a lazy cleaner ... the extra cleaning needed for the blades ... made me push it to the back of the drawer .BUT QUALITY SEEMS GOOD !

Every single bit of herb got stuck inside the scissors. I spent twice as long scraping out the scissors trying to get the herb bits to fall out as I would have spent just chopping the herbs by hand.

My mom spent a lot of money on the pampered chef version of these scissors and those scissors are the best thing ever! I moved out of her house, and wanted to get a pair of my own. I looked on Amazon and got a GREAT deal on these scissors and I read other reviews and ordered them hoping they would be the same quality. I think these scissors are even better! They come with a little case and I also got a pair of smaller scissors for free. These scissors are absolutely essential for cutting herbs in a fraction of the time. They are great for chives, cilantro, really anything that needs to be chopped and is soft. Thank you Chefaith!!!!

I bought this after reviewing product on several websites but on Amazon was the best deal so far. I just got one in main today.It worked great to cut herbs and craft paper things very easily. I ordered another 3 pairs to gift my friends.
