Too gritty. Poor dye release. My fear is the henna is old as there is no date on product.

Fine powder + good quality henna

Some of the best henna I’ve ever tried. ETA: while the color is beautiful this henna is not sifted well. I found all kinds of twigs and things in my hair even after cowashing 3 times.

The color from this henna was awesome! Starts staining almost immediately and produces a dark auburn that completely covers grey hairs after being left on for 2 hours. That said, the sift is not so great hence the 4 star rating. There was alot of little sticks, leaf pulp and other plant bits loose in this stuff. I co-washed and rinsed my hair several times and still could not get it all out. Literally after my hair dried I had plant pieces falling out of it. I would use it again because of the great color but would definitely sift it myself beforehand.

It gives a nice color, and hair is soft and smooth afterwards. Good products
