Plustek Optislim 2610 Flatbed Scanner

I am using this product for one and half year, very good performance without any complaints, worth its value

Hardware is good but software part is weak.

Excellent product with features like Book scaning Object scaning at very affordable price.

Custom buttons provided doesn't work , it stop scanning after 4 or 5 pages, it takes long time to resume the scanning function, it's irritating, there is no software updates also 😠

Good product, very slim. Bit noisy but I don't mind. Doing a job.

not good take long to scan and not easy to scan plus scanner quality very very very bad

All round a good well-priced scanner, scanned in a sketch using 300dip of 1200dpi and came out nice, I had to mess with the scanner settings for my own personal preference but it was easy to do. I'm able to fit my big hardback sketchbook in it and it scans my work nice and clean!Nice and light, simple easy info sheet to follow when installing ( I'm using windows 10)

The scanner produces reasonable scans but the software provided for OCR did not function with a message coming up no longer functioning contact licensee. I have also still to work out how to vary the quality/DPI etc of the scans. I cannot say for sure but I suspect an all in one printer for the same price would produce just as good scans and of course also provide a print facility. The scanner does however power up satisfactorily via a USB lead to a printer and does not need a separate power supply.
