Koller Products 6.5-Gallon Aquarium Kit with Power Filter and LED Lighting, (AP650)

So I've had this aquarium for give or take a month and I love it. the lights give the aquarium and good look and nice touch. the filter that it comes with is ok but if you have another one laying around that's better I suggest using that one because the filter that is included in the box some times makes weird noises and or stops working for a bit, so i have to unplug it for five minutes give or take to make the filter come back on. overall without a doubt, this is a perfect size and low maintains for beginners.

The media could not be loaded. The price was perfect for me and the tank is just as perfect. The colors are great but I mostly keep in on white and the filter is easy to clean. It’s a great size, I currently have 4 fish in it and the shape makes it look elegant. However the only complaints I have are it came with a scratch and tends to scratch, the filter is a little bit noisy (but it doesn’t bother me), and the light get crusty when the water splashes on it. However it’s the best tank I’ve ever owned and would buy again!!

Koller Products sent a replacement filter and light strip to me. The filter is working very well - no noise and less heavy water flow. The fish are swimming about more.I don't know how to remove the cover over the light strip yet but I hope to figure it out soon. I am excited to try to install it tomorrow.My appreciation of the tank has risen back to what it was initially. It is attractive and a great size for someone who doesn't want a larger tank.Thank you Koller Products. Your customer service is terrific.I ordered this tank back in January. The pump didn't work and all of my fish died. And then I broke my ankle so it was 8 weeks until I could drain the tank and clean it. The company sent a replacement pump. When I was free of the cast and then the boot I set the tank up again. The filter shoots the water out and it's noisy but it does work. At no time did I turn the light on. Guess what??? No blasted light so I can't see the fish that I bought today. The betta disappeared; I guess the water flow is too much for it. One of the neon tetras is gone already - less than 1/2 hour after I put them in the tank. This sucks! Today is the first day I've been able to go to the store since January. Within the next few days I think I'll drain the tank, flush the fish and put the tank out for the trash.

So far so great! I think this tank is absolutely wonderful for a plastic tank, it is not acrylic so it will not be as sturdy. I honestly think for the amount I payed it is so worth it! To anyone who wants any information about the tank you can buy filters on amazon as well for this tank. You can even subscribe to them to receive them when you need them. Overall it is a very nice tank and I think it is worth the money. The LED lights are meant to be plugged into an outlet, which was a huge bonus for me knowing that my last tank made by another company was battery powered. The filter is very quiet and seems to work well so far.A note about how many fish should be best for this tank: no more than 6-7 fish if each fish are approximately an inch long. This tank is 6.5 gallons. An inch of fish per gallon is what I’ve heard almost everywhere.I have 5 fish in this tank, two glofish danios and three glofish tetras. I want to get more in the future maybe one or two. These fish love the space and seem very content.I love this tank so far, I may do a review in a few months after cleaning the tank and seeing how the filtration system holds up.

I love it , I bought two . The light on one died out in a month . The filter isn’t the best . For the price , look and shape , I will give it a 5 star . It’s light weight and my fishes love their new tanks . Will definitely buy another

Ended up coming home from a carnival with some goldfish so purchased this as a temporary home (we were aware that goldfish would grow out of the tank eventually.) The goldfish didn't make it but since we had the tank set up we decided to get a Betta. It's been a few months and we are very happy with the purchase. The Betta seems to enjoy his home, he has a lot of room in this tank. The filter isn't too noisy and seems to do it's job. I'm a bit worried about the lights giving out since they do not appear to be able to replaced easily but we do love the selection of colors.Edit - Not even 6 months later and the filter is no longer working. It's running but water is no longer running through it. We tried to clean it out and troubleshoot and couldn't identify what the problem is. Tank is still okay but clearly durability is an issue, dropping from the original 5 star review as expectations were certainly not met with regards to life expectancy.

First of all, this is a really cool product! It came complete with a filter and we love the color changing bulbs. After we installed this in our family room, we had so many people comment on it and inquire where we purchased it. It actually made a few people want to get some fish, just so they could have the aquarium. The filter began to malfunction after about 5 months, so I was trying to purchase a replacement and wrote the company for the order information. Before I knew it, they had already sent a replacement for free! I thought I was still waiting to hear back from the about for the product information. So, I highly recommend this product. Great aquarium and great company!

I switched my betta from a 3.5 gallon to this tank so it’s almost twice the size. He really enjoys the extra space. The shape of the tank is my favorite thing about it. While sitting on my couch it looks panoramic. The walls of the tank blend together well and it is easy to see all the way through without much distortion. The lights for this tank are horrendous if you want live plants. They will die sooo quickly. I ditched the lights and lid and replaced them with a different light. My plants are doing so much better now. The filter doesn’t work the greatest, but I’ve learned my betta prefers the water to be still so I’m okay with it. You’ll definitely need to purchase a heater especially if you get rid of the lid. The filter replacements can be bought on Amazon for a very cheap price. I bought a few boxes and change it ever two to three weeks.
