If you are here looking at this product then you already know about reishi mushrooms and there is no need for me to yammer on about them. As for this particular product, I love the stuff. The flavor is good but if you are not into the reishi flavor, you should know that it mixes really well with coffee or Dandy Blend (a tasty coffee substitute). It has a nice roasty flavor on its own, slightly bitter but not bad. It actually grows on you fairly quickly. This dissolves instantly in hot water. I have not tried with cold water but I imagine it dissolves quite well.I have ordered 5 bags so far and each one has the same consistent quality as the one before it. This product is certified organic, non GMO, & Fair Trade. It is vegan, raw, and gluten free. The best by date on every bag I have purchased has been at least 14 months out.I have read many reviews with people commenting about the fact that this product is from China. I would like to remind folks that China is also the birthplace of Traditional Chinese Medicine and that reishi mushrooms play a significant role in TCM. While I understand some folks concern, it should be kept in perspective. If you can find a domestic source that is comparable, I would love to hear about it. In the meantime, I wouldn't lose any sleep over it.This is a quality product that I have found to be consistent over the course of several orders.

This specific TerraSoul product is my first experience with Reishi. After days of research I finally decided to try it. I tried it mixed with my morning coffee and noticed a change within a few hours. My mood was the definite proof for me! I felt very at ease and calm most of the day. I also knew there was something potent about it, because I had a slight skin reaction sort of like hives, but only on my lower left wrist, but NO itching and this went away the same day never to return again. I'm on week 4 now, and have noticed smoother more supple skin. I am convinced this is a healing plant fungus herb whatever you want to call it, but it has changed my life and I am so glad I found it in my mid 30's. I'm telling all my friends about it, although of course can't force it down their throats although I want to!! I would just like to comment on one thing. If you are on many medications, including hypertension meds, you must clear it with your doctor before as it may bring your blood pressure too low. It is always a good idea to talk with a health professional when using complementary or alternative therapies as many used in combination with medications can have dangerous adverse effects, sometimes fatal.

I used it several times already. It worked good as a coco like drink, and I added it to my smoothly ( almond milk, chocolate protein, banana, reishi powder). It was very good. Either way I was very relaxed, and yes It could put you to sleep. I did`t use any sleeping vitamins Yesterday,I did`t even make it to the shower after my reishi -milk drink. I slept pretty good. So far it has been helping with sleeping issues. I think you can easily add it to coffee, I just don`t drink it, and it may cancel waking up effect. It reminds me more coco.

With coffee it taste like chocholate.

I purchased this product as it is supposed to have properties beneficial to fighting cancer...not that the seller is claiming that...just what I've read via research. I've been adding it to my soup as an additional health boost. It doesn't affect the flavor adversely. I will likely continue to purchase in the future as I like natural foods for health and immunity. A serving is one tsp so this will last quite a while even with daily use.And, the product arrived quickly. The only caveat I had was that I couldn't reseal the bag but that was minor...I just put it in a ziplock bag.
