Great pans!
These are tough, no-nonsense, versatile saucepans at a reasonable cost. I have both 2- and 3.5-quart sizes, and they're used almost daily. The 2-quart is used for anything and everything, but is especially handy for starting rice-based recipes. The 3.5-quart pan is perfect for pasta for two. This is the absolute truth: when I bought a second house, another 2-quart pan was in the first load of things we took there!

My Favorite Pot for use with canning!
I love this Stainless Steel pot! It is very sturdy, and just the right size for use with my canning process! It is induction ready and heats up evenly. It has straight sides and a lid that fits firmly inside. The handle is hollow so it does not get too hot to use without a pot holder. It is not a light weight pot, but just heavy enough to sit in place on my glass top stove. It cleans up nicely without having to scrub. I am very pleased with my purchase and would recommend it to anyone wanting a professional quality pot at a reasonable price!

Heavy bottom , Pours great, heats fast
I got the 2 quart, it is over two pounds with thick bottom. Over 2 pounds. Wanted all steel for use on gas grill and other outdoor stove tops. I cooked a 15 oz can of soup over two sterno cans that had wicks on a small camping type stove. Soup was 170 degrees at 11 min. Handle not hot. The pot pours great, no dribble at all, no spout needed. Very happy with purchase.

It cooks evenly but will burn if three temperature on the cooktop isn't lowered
This is a pretty good saucepan. It boils water much faster than the other pans I have and does a great job cooking anything. It is heavier than other pans I've had. The only thing that I would improve about this would be a handle on the opposite side of the handle. When the pot is full it becomes really heavy and can be unsafe if you need to move it (like when it has spaghetti that has to be drained). The handle and lid do become hot when you're cooking. So I won't forget and burn myself, I lay a potholder on the lid and use a rubberband to secure another one around the handle. The base is 3cm thick and works very well at keeping the heat even while cooking. As you can see, it will hang without the lid falling off. Also, I like that it gives a "clean" pour, meaning if you pour liquid contents from the pan it won't drip down the side.Even though the base heats evenly, it also keeps it really hot. Because of this, you'll need to set the stove at a lower temperature that usual (it will discolor if used on high, even if it's to just boil water). If not used at a lower temp, it will easily either burn what is cooking, or it may burn off the liquid and possibly ruin the pot. I learned this the hard way and had it happen to me (it quickly burned off the water that was steaming carrots and the sugar from them totally burned on the bottom). The instructions that came with the pot said not to use steel wool. I thought it was beyond saving. I tried a product that I use to clean my induction cooktop and it worked pretty well it's called Cerama Bryte and I bought it here on Amazon). It wasn't as it had been, but after I used the pot a few more times it was back to normal. Just remember to keep a close eye on it.*I do have to say though, over time the finish has dulled some, and doesn't look good. It's already a "brushed" finish, but it seems as though it would have stayed nicer. I personally prefer polished stainless. It might be though because of my little fiasco. I'm going to try to clean a tiny test spot with steel wool and will update after.

Great saucepan
Its a great saucepan. I was surprised by its weight and sturdiness. I have used it a few times and love it. I wish they made a 1 quart version.

Pans that work on inverter, electric, or gas!!!!!
These pans work on all my portable burners, inverter, electric, and gas. I have both the 3.5 quart size and the 2 quart size. They both have thick plated bottoms for even heat distribution. They come with lids that inset down in the pan making a tight fit that contains the heat. The outside is brushed stainless with a mirror finish band at the top.The 3.5 quart pan weighs 2 pound 6 ounces, and measures 8 1/4 inches across the top. The 2 quart pan weighs 2 pounds even and measures 6 5/8 inches across the top. The weights are about equal with my old aluminum pans.Since the handles are metal, going from stove to a holding oven is no problem. And yes, the metal handles do get hot, but they don't melt, fade, or crack. The handle is attached with a series of spot welds. There are no bolt heads on the interior of the pan for food to adhere too which makes washing the pans easier. The same day these arrived I put my old faithful Club aluminum pans in the recycle bin. These pans let me use multiple heat sources which I could not do with my aluminum pans. They are sturdy, classic, and easy to clean. Win, win!

Exactly what I wanted in a heavy stainless saucepan with a handle.
I like the size and I use for various dishes.
