Poor Quality; Not Worth the Price
This product is deceptively misrepresented as being of very high quality. It turns out to be of LOW-QUALITY VERY THIN STEEL. As such, it is not worth the higher cost compared to better quality machines under $35. If you really want a stovetop espresso maker of the best quality, be prepared to pay around $100, and take a look at ones made by Cuisinox. The latter are everything they are represented to be and more.

This is the one you need!
I absolutely love this little espresso maker. I use it every single day and I’m very happy with my purchase! I shopped for awhile before ultimately deciding on this one and I’m so glad that I made this choice. The quality of the maker is great, I got the stainless steel. Heavy weight, nice craftsmanship. Plus it’s so cute sitting on the stovetop too.Besides being an item that’s actually worth the price, customer service is amazing. I had an issue, reached out to the Grosche team via email, and received a response AND resolution within 12 hours. Extremely polite to their customers, which is unfortunately rare these days.Awesome product, awesome people! Buy it!

Very happy with this stainless steel moka pot
I'd never used a moka pot before, but I bought this to make espresso to make my own Starbucks-style lattes at home. I've been really happy with it and it really is quite easy to clean.I got the stainless one because I'd heard concerning things about cooking with aluminum. Which was a little bit of a shame, because I think the aluminum ones are a lot cuter, but this one is perfectly attractive.Based on recommendations I found on the coffee subreddit, I heat the water to 200 degrees before pouring it into the reservoir. Because it's stainless steel, it immediately gets hot and that makes it a little difficult to screw on the top half. To get around this, I place the base on a silicone hot pad and then use a silicone mitt to hold it steady while I screw the top on. It's a little inconvenient but works fine.

Best moka pot on the market
I previously owned a bialetti 6-cup and I guess I had just gotten used to its bitterness. Finally, the aluminum filter needed to be changed as the coffee was not coming up through the spout in the correct fashion. Instead of replacing, I bought the steel GROSCHE. It is very very well made and I do not think the steel filter will ever require changing. My coffee is no longer tasting bitter whatsoever!I like the wide long mouth as I can stir with any spoon and it makes it easier to clean. I am very impressed with the craftsmanship and look of this moka pot. Would definitely!

Great quality Moka Pot
Glad I was able to find a quality made moka pot. This was exactly what I was looking for. Build quality is excellent, even with the handle being spot welded on. Very simple to use once you find the grind size you like. This took some testing, but thankfully I bought a Baratza Encore grinder when I bought this, so I could dial in the grind size. (I prefer #19). Only fuss I have with this, is when it comes to cleaning. The rubber/silicone (not sure which it is but it’s clear in color) gasket that keeps the top filter in place, allows a little bit of water to get behind it after a brew. It is removable, but you have to pry it our with a butter knife and just be careful not to cut/rip it.Other than that, super great product.

Has some faults
I really wanted to love this. I thought due to the name and price that this would be high quality, but unfortunately it has some faults.I’ll start with the pros:1. Putting it together is easy2. It makes enough for my 2 cups of coffee in the morningsNow for the cons:1. It is difficult to clean2. The hinge on the lid is very weak and broke within the first 5 uses.3. The top portion where the made coffee sits doesn’t keep it warm. It isn’t insulting so by the time I’ve finished my first cup the second is already cold.4. The inside doesn’t seem to be stainless steel, mine has stains that can’t be scoured away.5. The handle gets hot. I did not expect this given the description, needless to say I burnt my hand the first time I used it.

Nice feel, Heavy, Good looking
I had bought a $20 stovetop espresso maker (6 cups) and after 6 months started to rust. I decided I need a larger 10 cup stovetop espresso maker. This makes abt 20 oz. It is heavy and well made. After each time, I rinse the water chamber and dry. Sadly it has a few small spots of rust after a few times using...the top chamber is fine including the metal basket. I love the feel of this pot and hope it will last longer than 6 months.

Doesn’t brew, or brews burnt. Not worth a penny!!
The directions it came with clearly say to brew on low. I’m brewing on low for 30 minutes, no coffee. I decide it must be too low and crank it up to a medium, nothing. Maybe a simmer? Nope, still no coffee. So I turn it up onto high, ta-da! Coffee! Aaaaaand now it’s burnt. Frustrated, I try again, because obviously it must be something I’m doing wrong right? Nope, still no brew or a burnt brew. This pot is not worth a single penny, don’t waste your money!!! Unfortunately I foolishly didn’t keep the box it came in, since it had such fantastic reviews, and now I’m out $60 and can’t return it.

Really nice moka pot
This is a very handsome, good-looking moka pot that makes a superb cup of coffee. The base is weighty (as you would expect with an induction compatible pot) and smacks of quality. The pot itself seems a bit tinny, but it's not! I have compared it with the steel on my Bialetti (which does not seem 'tinny' at all) and it is the same thickness. I have concluded that the difference between the Grosche and the Bialetti is the hinge, not the thickness of the steel. The Bialetti has a plastic/nylon hinge. The Grosche's hinge is stainless steel, the nature of which causes it to rattle around a bit, giving it that tinny feel. I do prefer the stainless steel hinge of the Grosche, but at first, before looking into it, the seeming tinniness is a little disconcerting. The other difference between the two is that the edges of the Grosche are not as rounded as the Bialetti. They are by no means 'sharp', but they are definitely 'sharper'. This, again, denudes the sense of quality, and maybe adds to the sense of tinniness. However, unlike some cheaper pots that I have owned over the years, I DO NOT feel at risk of shredding my hands when I wash it.Having had this pot for some months, I have made a lot of coffees, and am totally delighted. I drink my moka espresso straight, my partner turns it into an Americano with cream. The 10 cup size is good for the pair of us. We certainly could have got away with an 8 or 9 cup size, if such had been available at the time we purchased; 6 cup size (as in my Bialetti) is too small for the pair of us, unless we are having a small second cup.In synopsis, I am extremely happy with my purchase, and highly recommend this pot. I wish it was not quite so expensive (there again, it wasn't $200!), however, I am quite sure I will still be using this pot in 20 years. That thought makes it seem inexpensive,... although it is a perverse thought when everything nowadays seems to have a life expectancy of 2-5 years.

5 star stovetop espresso maker
I've always been a fan of Italian brand (Bialetti) coffee makers and have used one and loved it for a decade. It was time to buy a new one and I began reading reviews that the quality has gone down. I recently purchased one that was cheap, cheap poor quality. So disappointing! I wasn't sure I'd find a good replacement, but I did my research and discovered GROSCHE. This is a *fantastic* stovetop espresso maker! Beautiful design, beautiful quality and makes delicious coffee! The weight, and materials are all top notch - including proper metal hinge on the lid, not cheap plastic. I love the silicone ring inside too, instead of rubber. Also love what this company seems to stand for, though I haven't done my research to confirm the claims. Would recommend this company over the old school Italian ones for sure!

Get the 10 cup. Best way to make coffee.
I have made drip coffee, Aeropress, coffee machine, and espresso - this percolator is my favorite. On occasion I prefer a true espresso, but find them a little hard on the stomach. This percolator however makes a silky smooth and delicious coffee for every day drinking *IF done right. you need to have the right grinds, fill it with boiled water, put it on the stove at a medium heat, and then remove it as soon as you hear the valve clear. I would recommend getting the 10 cup (makes about 16oz), as the smaller size I found did not deliver the same richness and flavor. This is a labor of love for a good coffee. Pairs well with the OXO burr grinder.

Just when you thought the Moka Pot couldn’t be improved… Grosche happens.
Moka pots have been around for almost 100 years so you might wonder how such an archetype could be improved on. Grosche gave it some thought.1) 100% stainless: every component including hinge fittings, so Grosche rates it “dishwasher safe”. Many other moka pots are *mostly* stainless.2) Robust construction. The base is extra-thick stainless steel for even heat distribution and abrasion resistance. It pours without dripping. The top threads onto the base without complaint, and the silicone seal is tactile-pliable so you know when it is sealed.3) The brew quality is as good as any moka pot I’ve owned.4) It looks great and after a few weeks of regular use and cleaning shows no discolouration or adverse effects.I recommend this product.

My daily go to
I did not want to buy a large expensive machine for good coffee so this 6 cup fit the bill. It would have been beneficial to have some directions ie , how much coffee to water to get how many servings etc. I found someone on line who provided portion sizes, she was spot on. 2.5 cups to 5 tbsp coffee for 2 servings; may add water, milk, ice etc or for 1 larger Americano - 2.5 cups of water to 2.5 tbsp coffee may add water or milk etcBrewing time depends on your stove. I get it ready the night before, element to medium, listen or check for the bubbling at the top. Then turn it down a bit to let it finish.Total time 15 min or so.Pros:- Perfect for my daily Americano,- No longer pay a fortune at Starbucks- Use my own cup, so no throw away cup and green plastic stick from you know who!!- Love the stainless steel, I did not want aluminum,- Very easy to clean, put together etc. However, If you have more than 2 people in the house, you may want to purchase larger than the 6 cup.I haven’t had it long enough to know of any issues.
