Works well for its intended use.
I got this to replace a plastic gripper that finally broke ($1.99 for 4 years of service - not bad). I made a couple of modifications to and it seemed to work pretty well. But I didn't know what I was missing until I got the BirdRock grapper. It's light and easy to use. The ends of the gripper tips are soft rubber and hold on to things pretty well. The only problem is that when the tips are all the way together, there is a 'hole' (probably soup can size) left in the middle of the grippers. It turns out that some things can't be properly picked up and gripped by the tips of the gripper arms and fall through the 'hole' left in the middle. My ideal unit would be one that comes with two or three sets of gripper arms or inserts, designed for picking up different shaped objects AND a ratcheting trigger so that you didn't have to hold it while moving the tool and object around

Super useful tool!
I have tried, and used, reacher - grabber type tools for many years. This one is, by far, the best. I find out to be well balanced, a must for hanging on to heavier items. Light wait, yet sturdy, it is not useful the product is too heavy at the outset. Easy to grip, a must for weak hands. Rubber grippers allow you to pick up both small objects as well as large ones and hold on to them, obviously necessary for anything that is used to reach and grab. Long enough to be able to reach anything that I can actually hang on to. I accidentally purchased two, however these are so useful that have decided to keep them both. All in all this is a great tool that I would recommend to anyone!

Best Grabber Ever!
This is a great product. It's long enough to reach almost anything high or low and the grip is phenomenal. We have other grabbers that did not hold on to the items we were trying to pick up or would not pick up small items. This grabber is so good it will pick up a piece of lint off the carpet. We threw away our other grabbers. We bought 2 of these and will probably order more. My husband has herniated discs in his back and can't bend down. This grabber works perfectly for him. I highly recommend this product.

Works. Nice Adjustable Grabber head. Feels a little fragile at times.
It grabs things as you would expect. The adjustable angle head is nice for grabbing objects out of different spaces behind dryers, desks, and shelves. Though I didn't like how it feels when using it as much. It doesnt feel as strong, like if I got a little too rough the plastic might break.

Bought to pick up dog toy from bar height stools but does a LOT more!
BirdRock Home Reacher Grabber Pick Up Tool | Lightweight Aluminum 32" Extra Long Reaching Aid | Best Articulating Head | Rotating Rubber Grip | Trash Pick Up, Disabled, Garden Nabber Arm Extension I've had this for almost a year and while I started out getting it for one reason it's blossomed into an even bigger 'benefit' to me! I have bar height swivel stools in my kitchen/dining area and quickly became agitated by having to get off the stool to pick up my dogs toy to throw it for him. I thought about getting a 'grabber' and turns out this is perfect for me to sit on the stool and reach his toy without getting up and down each time (he LOVES to play) to throw his toy! After that I began using this to pick up leaves that had blown in from the deck, ice cubes that hit the floor, laundry, dry dog kibble, and the list keeps growing! I love using these to pick up just about anything! While the rubber grips makes it not a good device to pick up anything with real 'weight' it's perfect at picking up anything else. From small crumbs to pieces of paper. It also makes me able to pick up and throw his toy while sitting in my king-size bed without having to get out of it each time to throw it for him.

I love this particular grabber
I love this particular grabber! because of a stroke I have limited mobility and strength in my predominate hand and this grabber works very well. the other one I had broke on the tips where this one is one piece and cannot break apart. this grabber has a different grip and handle that pleasantly surprised me as to how easy it is to use, different grip and tips than my old one and much better and easy to use. I highly recommend this particular grabber and am very satisfied

Pfui: The Barney Fife of Grabbers
Puny. Runty. The Barney Fife of grabbers. I have two Ettore Grip 'n Grab picker-uppers. One for outside, the other residing at one end of my ranch house, thus not at hand when I am at the other end of my house. So, I decided to go for a 3rd. Except the price went up. Looked at this Birdrock thing, read the reviews, and although about 2" shorter than the Ettore, thought it would work well...based on the reviews. I don't know if the one I was sent had already been returned as there were no instructions from the manufacturer and there is not even the name of the manufacturer on the grabber itself. However, that changes nothing about it's poor performance. It is lighter than the Ettore, which makes if flimsy. The rubber grabbers at each end are thin and already look limp. I thought I would try it out on a notebook that somehow frequently finds itself on the floor. The Ettore had no problem picking up the notebook, which is medium-sized and weighs about a pound. The Birdrock shook, flinched, and could barely get it off the floor. Not at all sturdy. Am contacting Amazon re returning it...ASAP. The $2+ dollar price difference is not worth it.

Works amazingly well!
I've had this tool & used it for well over a year now, and am very happy w/it! I've picked up a single dime w/it on both carpet & hard floors and have found it to have a nice fit to my hands w/o straining my hands or wrist. I've picked up unopened canned beverages w/o any problems, so it can handle some weight as well. I've also used it to pick up broken glass from a very thin & fragile glass bulb w/ precision. The only suggestion I could make, would be to somehow place magnets on the end possibly for really small screws (for example). I'm going to try & glue on some magnets & see how it might work. Overall, I feel it is a very well built product that should last for quite a while.. Love the fact that the head can twist 45 degrees to get behind & between furniture
