Four boys from 6-8 years old had a blast with these
This proves that kids can be happy with simple toys. We were looking for something outdoors to do with our 7 year old grandson given the Covid situation, so I bought four of these gliders, assembled them (two minutes each, but two came with decals and it 5 minutes each and was a difficult task, lol). Then took them over to his house. He was out in the schoolyard down the block playing with his friends. So we had a 75 minute nonstop test of the product, used by four kids of different abilities and man did they have fun with no damage to the planes. The only issue that there might be after long use is that there are two settings for the back wing. My wife and I insisted that we do any changes of that wing but I could see a younger child break it unsupervised. The 7 and 8 year old figured out how to do it on there own. The gliders are not super light and the 6 year old threw one right at our grandson and hit him in the face. Fortunately he closed his eyes instinctively. No damage but maybe some supervision with young kids. So how do they fly? If you are an adult you can get them to triple loop. Kids did 1.5 or two loops. The glide mode is also fun and if there is a wind they will go for a hundred feet or more. Encourage patience with the kids. Usually it took them a half dozen tries to get the hang of it, so ten or fifteen minutes. Two little 3-4 year old girls wandered into the group and the boys gave them a chance and they didn't want to give back the planes. lol. The kids didn't want to stop playing but it was getting dark and two of them were throwing as well as the adults after an hour. Highly recommend. My wife and I also had fun with them! They are well made with dense styrofoam butwon't last for ever.

Still flying, 6 weeks later
These planes are the real deal. I have 3 young kids that play with them almost daily. They are very durable and easy to fly, and they have produced many hours of enjoyment. In a good wind, from height, they can sale for a hundred yards, with no problem. In the loop mode, with a good wind, we had one stay aloft for 15+ seconds; I think it turned 7 loops, which was pretty amazing. Of course, it landed in a tree, but it was easy enough to knock down.We had two issues in regards to body damage: both a wing and a tail fin split after smacking into a hard object. However, both were easily fixed with super glue, and both are still flying high.Speaking of hard objects: they have a fairly soft, almost rubbery nose to them...Which means that only feelings are hurt when they inevitably smack into the side of a kid's head. The stickers that they ship with are an added bonus, as my kids had a lot of fun decorating their planes.I would definitely purchase these again.

No Discreet packaging - bad for gifts
First, the product was great. Easy to make, super sturdy and my kids love it. BUT I did get upset with the fact it was not shipped in its own box. They slapped the shipping label directly on the items box. It's lazy but more importantly my kids got the mail, could see exactly what it was and it ruined their suprise.

Great Gliders for kids!
Bought these for a 10, 7, and 4 year old. Flew them in a big field and the kids had a great time. The 10 year old got some really long flights with only a little practice. The four year old had a lot of trouble trying to get his to fly, and repeatedly smashed it into the ground in frustration, with no damage whatsoever (see picture of blue plane)! Eventually he figured it out, and enjoyed it.One of the planes got stuck on the roof and survived a New England Nor’easter, blowing off the next day and was recovered intact. The only complaint is that some of the stickers got stuck to each other in the package and had to be discarded. We’ve already ordered a couple dozen more for all the nieces and nephews (and their parents!) for Christmas. I’ve purchased many gliders in the past, and these are the most durable and are excellent fliers. Highly recommend!

Misleading size
Planes are measured generally from nose to tail for size. Says 20 in but they are referring to the wing span when it should be length not width. Misleading as you can get the standard gliders in a 6 pack for a lot cheaper than this airplane. If it was a 6 pack for the cost I wouldn’t mind but at $10 a plane this is not worth the price point. Stick to the colored gliders that are a little smaller instead.

Not your cheap styrofoam plane.
I was very pleased with this purchase. The planes (2 per box) came assembled except for the stickers. They seem to be coated with a rubbery shell that makes them more durable. They are designed to glide nicely & the kids have learned how to control the flights. They’ve been played with a lot and show little wear.

Fun at the park
The kids really enjoyed flying these at the park. If you throw hard they do a loop and if you’re gently throwing them the glide a good distance. Best on a calm day.
