Q: will this fit nikon sb-600

It should due to the adjustable strap it can expand or shrink to fit a larger or smaller flash unit. My Canon 600EX-RT is one of the larger flashes around and it can fit perfectly.

Q: Shouldn't this product include a universal mount? The silicon grip band that goes on the flash first? My unit did not include the grip band.
