Star Wars - Episode III Revenge of the Sith

Excellent Sheet Music from Episode III and More
As someone who loves the Episode III soundtrack, I was somewhat disappointed at first due to the lack of piano arrangements. Only five songs in this book are unique to Episode III (Battle of the Heroes, Anakin's Betrayal, Anakin's Dark Deeds, Padme's Ruminations, Padme's Destiny). The rest are arrangements of pieces of music from the Original Trilogy. So why do I rate this book five stars? The quality of these arrangements is absolutely amazing. Battle of the Heroes here is arranged in its full from the soundtrack. Anakin's Betrayal is beautiful as well. The true gems in here lie not with the pieces unique to Episode III, however-Princess Leia's theme, the Star Wars theme, Throne Room, and Imperial March are all the best arrangements I have ever seen for piano. They are full songs, as you would hear on the soundtrack, orchestrated beautifully for piano. This book's purchase was worth those alone. This book is NOT easy piano. However, that is what makes these arrangements so enjoyable for the more advanced piano player.Wonderful sheet music not just for Episode III, but the original trilogy as well. A must-have for intermediate/advanced piano players who love Star Wars music.

A Beautiful Ending to the Star Wars Saga
Film composer extraordinaire John Williams closes out the Star Wars saga on a good note (no pun intended). Those who currently own other Star Wars sheet music will notice that this book includes previously published pieces such as "The Force Theme" and "End Title/Credits". However, the hauntingly sorrowful "Anakin's Dark Deeds" and the fast paced Maestoso "Battle of the Heroes" in orchestration take the viewer on an emotional roller coaster that has "Duel of the Fates" like intensity. This book, written for piano solo, is a farily accurate representation of the soundtrack. However, you will find that some of the pieces are not in their original key and require tranposition to be played along with the soundtrack. For a fan of John Williams or Star Wars, this is a book worth having in your collection.

Never Had A Problem With Amazon Before
I'm getting a little upset that this item has not been shipped to me yet, as it is the 19th of August and I ordered it on the 1st. First I thought that the item wasn't in stock, but even as the days went by with no package from Amazon, the book was clearly in stock. I've already received Amazon orders that were made after this one. It's a little ridiculous that I haven't gotten it yet, and I'm tempted to cancel the order even though I haven't seen the book anywhere else. I just don't know what's taking Amazon so long with this specific order.

Good for Star Wars fans with an intermediate piano ability
There are some reasonably nice arrangements of the main Star Wars theme, Princess Leia theme and the Force theme. Then there are some numbers actually from "Revenge of the Sith" but in the main I think these are less rewarding - and you probably wouldn't even recognise them. The standard required to play them is fairly intermediate, I'd estimate with a grade 6 or thereabouts you wouldn't have too much trouble.
