I want to caution buyers to read the fine print about the return policy
While the mattress topper did not work for us (it was too soft), it was well made and did not smell at all. However, I want to caution buyers to read the fine print about the return policy. This is not a typical Amazon return - there is a 20% restocking fee PLUS you have to pay to ship it back (they do not give you their wholesale shipping rates via a return label). The topper weighs 30lbs. If you live on the other side of the country from CA like I do (I live in RI) the cheapest mailing option is $54. So the bottom line is that you will pay more than half of what you pay for this topper in return shipping and restocking. If you are a regular Amazon shopper this is not what you have come to expect so purchase with your eyes wide open.

This mattress topper changed everything!
This mattress topper made my bed SO comfortable! Even though I had a pillow top bed that was under 5 years old, I tossed and turned because I kept getting sore pressure points. Since my bed was so new, I didn't want to invest in a new bed. I thoroughly researched mattress toppers and went with this one. I have had it now for four years. I still love it! It has relieved me of all of the pressure point problems. It feels so soft, but without any sagging. When this wears out, I plan to buy this same product again!

HORRIBLE!
No no no, no bueno. This is cheaply made, imo. It tears very very easily which makes the warranty void so be careful. Way too soft, no support whatsoever and gets very hot. Worst purchase I've ever made online,by far! I wish I could return it but I have no idea how i'd get it back in the tiny box it's sent in and I'm sure shipping would be costly. I guess I can just be happy I didn't pay more, the list price can not be accurate. Ridiculous, DO NOT BUY THIS!!!

Didn’t last, no longevity
We bought this in Feb 2016 to replace a 4” topper we loved and lasted almost 4 years, thing barely lasted a year and a half, started to depress where we slept within about a year, which isn’t abnormal, BUT it has no been a little over 2 years and this topper is so indented that’s it’s tough to even sleep on it any more! It was pretty soft to begin with, compared to the other memory foam toppers we’ve had, but I thought that might be a good thing since good foam toppers take some time to “break in”. Nope, for the money there are better ones out there that last longer and have better support with higher density.

It is somewhat comfortable until it begins to heat up
I haven't slept well since I ordered and began sleeping on this product. Their advertising about this piece of memory foam is overinflated because this is nothing more than a piece of foam. It is somewhat comfortable until it begins to heat up. I throw the covers off several times during the night as a result. Overall, I don't sleep any better than before I bought it.

Good for back and side sleepers...not stomach sleepers.
I have hereditary back problems so I got this mattress pad to help ease some of the pain. Long story short, it didn't help me much. Before this mattress pad, I could sleep comfortably on my stomach which is a sleeping position I've grown to like. After adding this pad, I can't sleep on my stomach for too long because the pain quickly reassembles. I can sleep better on my back with this mattress pad, and when I sleep on my sides, my arms don't go numb like they have been known to do at times. For these reasons, I decided to keep it. Still looking for something to make all sleeping positions better.As for the smell...I didn't notice any weird odor. The foam seems durable...springs back into place quickly. I feel it may make you too hot. Though, this may be caused by the new mattress protector I bought with this pad; I haven't tried removing this protection pad yet to compare.

i love this topper
fantastic topper. i own a extra firm futon style mattress (best bed ever). my hospital grade egg crate foam topper was four years old. it was time for a new topper. this topper is true to description. luxurious. doesnt take that long to expand. though one will need a flat clean surface to let the topper expand. the material will get damaged easily. must use a high grade mattress pad and fitted sheet.i recommend this product for all firm mattress lovers.
