It does the job of holding a guitar but a few caveats. It's not the most stable - i.e. the whole thing is quite easy to tip over if for example you brush against the guitar. The padding on the tubes isn't that thick - it's sufficient to stop scratching but I suspect will wear in time. It says foldable but not easily so, as the bottom supports pass through the main tube and therefore you need to undo this and keep the two parts separate.There's an element of you get what you pay for and the neck support is useful, but for this price I've bought other stands without neck supports that are much more robust and portable. On reflection next time I'd go for another one of those shorter stands.

This stand holds my daughter’s 3/4 length electric guitar perfectly. It keeps it would off the floor to avoid damage and holds it in place in case it gets knocked.

The bottom guitar support is non fixed and swivels around,my bass actually fell off the stand because the flanged pin slips out of the slot continuously. Avoid like the plague, cheap BUT NOT CHEERFUL !Spend a bit more on your stand !
