Fatwood Firestarter Wooden Crate, 12-Pounds

The box presents (on Amazon) as a faux antique yellowish PINE wooden box, which is why I ordered vs. just ordering a box of fatwood. The actual box they mail to you is of really good, solid box joint quality, but the color is much darker than the pic (dark brown). The preferred yellowish color is nothing a bit of sanding, staining (or wiping down w/a bit of goof off) can't handle, but they really shouldn't misrepresent the color so drastically (it's not even close).Had already begun sanding/lightening up box before considering taking a pic, but you can see 'actual' dark brown color in pics other have shared in reviews.

It’s fabulous! So easy to use in the fireplace, chiminea or camping!

I like that they light fast and burn for a long time making it easier to light large logs and keep them burning

We use these indoors and out. They are the best little sticks for setting up a fire

The fatwood burns as expected. Very happy there. I will use the box for storage or decor or a gift. The logo on the box is printed. I may carve it in, for a personal touch. The quality of the box is decent. Has a sliding top with two addition wood panels for holding.

Worked like a charm. Used it on a rainy camping outing. Little pricey!

These are cut and split to the perfect size.They light very easy and burn long enough to get a good fire going
