I wasn't sure about this at first but I really like the fact that it is made of coir fiber instead of plastic, and it doesn't shed at all as far as I can tell.It gently scrubs my veggies even soft zucchini, making them "squeaky clean" without removing the skin, while also being "tough "on potatoes cleaning them wonderfully as well.I spray the veggie w/ veggie cleaner, scrub it with the brush, rinse the veggie and the brush, scrub the veggie again, rinse it and the brush, and hang it to dry.I especially like the fact that the brush doesn't have any weird smells etc.I recommend, great price, wonderful product!

Smaller then I expected but affective nonetheless. Sturdy, gets the grime off pans and that is the real test. Good product, I recommend it to those looking for a brush for difficult to remove grease and grime.

Multi purpose.scrubber for kitchen and elsewhere.

I bought this to wash potatoes and other veges. It is very easy to use. This is not a mass produced plastic brush, so it does not have the sturdiness of plastic, but this item is actually sturdy (wood and plant fiber) while other mass produced brushes we bought before are so easy to be bent. While any brushes have issues of being bent or damaged easily, this item is reliable and I just try not to put too much force on one spot. It does a great job and it is made in Japan!

Does a great job cleaning fruits and Vegitables

Great kitchen, vegetable brush. Handle is comfortable.

Good scrub brush for veggies

It's a bit short, but works fine. Problem is that the brush head became loose and then broke entirely within 4 months of use.
