New Bright Chargers F/F Ford Raptor RC Vehicle (1:18 Scale), Red

For $25 you can't beat this little truck! I bought it for my 5 year old son for Christmas and he loves it. I was looking for something lower end for him to start out with and most of the vehicles at that price point needed a bunch of AA batteries (which are expensive). This truck has a built in rechargeable battery with an attached USB cable that winds up into a reel at the bottom for easy storage. Charge time is about 45 min to an hour and the charge lasts for 15-20 min. It doesn't work in grass, not too well in carpet, but great on concrete or packed dirt. The remote looks cheap and there is no antenna but for $25 who cares? The range is at least 100 feet.

It was dead on arrival. The battery would not charge. Poor Quality Assurance on the manufacturers part. Don't buy!

Terrible battery life. Can't replace batteries. Complete piece of junk. I purchased one that died within a few days, and replaced it with a second one that did the exact same thing. Don't waste your time or money. It will bring sadness to your child's life.

My grandson loves this. I am so glad for Amazon as I looked everywhere for this and everyone was sold out. It was exactly what he wanted and arrived in excellent shape.

I'm a little disappointed. The truck is well built with big grippy tires and plenty of ground clearance but the motor is weak and the gearing means its not fast enough to be particularly exciting and not powerful enough to climb anything. Which again, is a shame because it's built well enough to do it.This would be fun enough on a gravel driveway or something for the price (the charging system is great and range is good) but it could be a lot better.

This truck was a complete failure out of the box. I literally opened the box and charged it for my son, we waited 2 hours for the battery to charge per the instructions "LED to turn off on truck" and attempted to drive it. Talk about a disappointed kid on Christmas morning. I haven't gotten the truck to work and since my wife and I purchased this truck on Black Friday it's been 30 days and we do not have the receipt. I would highly advise against this truck as this truck will only be a waste of money and disappointed. I guess I have a truck that I will be able to pull apart and use for my son's other R/C cars.

Bought this elsewhere after Christmas, but stored it a few months to give my son. Charged it as directed. Went to have him try it out and it would not move.Contacted their customer support who indicated that it sounded like "a problem with the transmitter or the vehicle itself". Then suggested I take it to a Hobby Shop. So I either spend more money or I have a brand new plastic model of a truck.

This truck worked great on Christmas morning- but ever since then it's been terrible and since we threw out all the packaging I couldn't take it back. We can't get the battery to charge. I contacted the technical department of New Bright and they will not return my messages. Very disappointing.
