Good build quality , keeps it's shape when loaded, read more about comfort
I wanted a laser welded backpack style cooler because I didn't want a soft cooler with stitching in the inside liner, as they tend to leak or absorb water. It's tall enough that the 32/40oz insulated bottles fit with room to spare above or below it. Check with your airline, but the dimensions are just about a carry on size. I might use it later to bring hot or cold food items home on interisland trips (Hawaii use case).Build Quality: Good for this price point. The cooler portion is laser welded and the rolled nylon straps seem well made. The zipper is stiff (as most of these style coolers are) and it comes with a tube zipper grease. Follow the instructions and apply some from the beginning and it will really make things easier. My cooler doesn't leak, doesn't sweat and if you leave it in full sunlight, really feels like it's protecting the contents with good insulation, even on the lid. I will be adding accessory packs to the sides to carry some utensils, napkins, maybe hand sanitizer.Performance: I mostly plan to use this for picnics and less-than-one day trips. For example, carrying my surfboard to the beach tucked under my arm and carrying the cooler on my back is way easier than carrying a hard handheld cooler.Comfort: If you plan on hiking into remote spots for 1+ hour hikes... Try on some brands at your local store and if they feel good, buy them. I like the chest strap, which helps keep it centered and the shoulder straps don't seem to loosen as I walk. I feel like it doesn't really get super comfortable, but I'll try to explain. If I hike it up really tight, that seems to work best, if you keep it loose like a sagging backpack, it bounces on your lower back and that's not ideal. Maybe a person of taller or larger build might find it ergonomic, but at 5' 7", I think its back height might be a tad too tall for me. Quality hiking backpacks come with adjustable back heights or you buy the size made for you, and having tried those on... My guess is this is a tad too tall for it to "fit" me as the top keeps pulling away from my back, but maybe that's added airflow and a plus? However, I only plan to use it for convenience from parking lot to picnic or beach spot, and not major Backcountry excursions, so I am willing to overlook minor comfort/ergonomic issues because it's way more comfortable than carrying a similar sized hard cooler with my hands while trying to carry your recreational gear as well. It's also better than trying to sling a single shoulder strap rectangle/square soft cooler and carry say, a surfboard. In that perspective, it's comfortable enough to not knock the stars down since they don't advertise back height or that it's custom designed for someone my height. It's design is better than hand carrying a cooler based on how I am using it, so for me it's still a winner.Compared to a similar size Hydroflask 20L backpack cooler I tried on, this one keeps it's shape better. Perhaps that's where the Hydroflask model might be more comfortable, but in the store I didn't have the Hydroflask loaded with cans, bottles, ice or food. I wanted something to keep it's shape so that food won't get smashed if the sides deformed naturally, and so this fit my needs well. This item keeps it's shape top to bottom, at the expense of a little bit of comfort. I also thought the sliding opening for the Hydro was slick, but wouldn't be as good of an insulator as this thick top lid and it seems like you had to use one hand to keep the Hydro open as it naturally closes, whereas you probably use both hands to unzip this, and when you flip the top back it's wide open.

The best cooler I've ever bought.
recently purchased the OCKBROS Backpack Cooler Bag and it has truly exceeded my expectations. As someone who loves spending time outdoors, whether camping, hiking, or picnicking, having a reliable cooler is essential, and this backpack cooler ticks all the boxes!Firstly, the insulation is top-notch. It keeps beverages and food items perfectly chilled for extended periods, even in hot weather. I was pleasantly surprised by its capacity; it comfortably accommodates up to 30 cans along with ice packs, ensuring I have enough refreshments for a full day out.One of the standout features is its leak-proof design. I've had unfortunate experiences with other coolers leaking, but this one has proven to be truly waterproof. I can confidently carry it without worrying about any spills or messes, making it ideal for beach trips, fishing, and outdoor parties. The backpack design is a game-changer. It's incredibly convenient to carry on hikes or while exploring, leaving my hands free for other gear. The adjustable straps are comfortable, and the overall construction feels durable and well-made. Plus, the multiple pockets and compartments are handy for storing utensils, napkins, or personal items. What's also impressive is its versatility. Whether I'm floating down the river or having a beach day, this cooler backpack has become my go-to companion. The material is easy to clean, which is a big plus after a day of outdoor adventures. In conclusion, the OCKBROS Backpack Cooler Bag is a fantastic investment for anyone who loves spending time outdoors. Its durability, leak-proof design, ample storage, and overall convenience make it an indispensable companion for various outdoor activities. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable and versatile cooler backpack.

great cooler
This cooler seems well made, durable, and overall like it will be a great cooler. It has very thick walls, so the space inside isn't enormous, but I suppose in order to be thermal there would need to be some heft to the bag! the seams all appear that it will be waterproof for a while. I washed it and it held water. THE STRAPS ARE THE BEST! we struggle finding backpacks especially cooler ones that will fit my husbands broad shoulders. the other brands are ridiculous, I cannot believe grown men spend that kind of money and think they fancy with the bag on. they look incredible uncomfortable, and a few have admitted it is. RockBros put a harness on here that is fit a larger man, comfortably, even after we fill it. Hubby is very happy. There was a strong odor from the interior material when I opened it up, that I am hoping will fade with a couple washes. I am very happy with this purchase. Thank you to those that answered my question about the harness straps which lead me to purchase!

Husband loves it.
I got this cooler as a gift for my husband. He loves it. It is built the same as our RTIC cooler, but more reasonably priced. It doesn't leak (other than a bit from the zipper if it tips), it keeps ice & drinks cold, it is comfortable to carry. Only negative I have is it is so tall it almost doesn't fit in my trunk standing up. Great product, great price.

Pretty good product
The cooler is similar in design to more expensive brands like Yetti. Functional, nice design, lightweight.

Worth it
This cooler held up great during hot days on the beach! It’s light-weight, durable and great for traveling - held ice for 2-days, no problem!Leak proof when upright, slight leakage through the zipper if tipped over, but shouldn’t be a deal breaker.Would be nice if this had a drain valve at the bottom to help empty melted ice-water.Overall, it’s functional and worth considering over the expensive name-brands
