Simplicity
Very good, simple, easy meter for the home or service tech. As long as you don't need to measure current, this is the one to get. To clear up confusion I had read about, Fluke materials say it will switch to continuity for anything under 3V. This almost prevented me from buying it. But it's not true, it easily measured the AA and AAA batteries I tried. Not sure why they caused this confusion on their own documentation?Con: Comes with the cheaper "plastic-y" leads. Get a pair of the softer silicone type for a better experience IMO. I really think could include better leads for the cost and have a better perception of value. This may be a cheaper Fluke but it's still over a hundred bucks which is a lot in my world.

The Industry Standard
Working as an engineer in the semiconductor industry I fully understand the importance of quality equipment. When you manufacture at the nano-scale you need tools that are accurate and dependable. This DVM is both. The back lit screen functions great, even in the daylight. The auto-detect voltage function is very helpful, just turn the unit on and check voltage whether AC or DC the DVM displays what you need thanks to the true RMS design.

My favorite work meter.
We use these meters at my cooperative and man these things are tough as can be. I've dropped this thing from a 4 story balcony and it just took it like a champ. The LCD is great especially the light feature that is so helpful when inside of meter rooms that don't have lights. I really love fluke products and I can tell you wouldn't be dissapointed buying this meter.

It's a Fluke, pricey, but reliable
It's a basic Fluke Multimeter. Good for most applications that require a reliable and accurate meter that can measure AC (true RMS) or DC Voltages, Capacitance, circuit continuity, or Resistance. Notice however that in the product description there is no mention of current reading capabilities. That is because the Fluke-113 CAN'T MEASURE CURRENTS directly, so If you need to measure Currents directly, this is not the meter for you. (Maybe look into the Fluke 115, more expensive, but it can measure DC or AC currents). Overall, It has performed very well for me in various applications from home renovation electrical work to hobby electronics. Exactly the quality (and price) that one would expect from a Fluke Instrument.

Simple and accurate
Fluke makes good test equipment. All I needed was a basic accurate multimeter for work projects. A bit pricey but previous experience with their equipment made me buy this..

Fluke is #1
Fluke is the best multimeter available. I tried saving a few dollars with a Klein and was sorely disappointed. Not only does a Klein have way too many rotary switch positions, it just died one day after a year of use. I came back to Fluke and have zero regrets.

Doesn’t read low DCV
I was using it for the first time and it seemed to be fine until I was trying to read voltage that was lowered from 10 VDC to 4 VDC with a 100k resistor, the meter could not read the voltage because of the resistor. I returned it and bought the model 115 which has separate AC and DC voltage selector switch.
