It's ok
It works for what I need it for but I don't see it lasting that long. Parts on it come loose very easily. And it's not that sturdy. When you trying to extend it to be taller is slowly slides down no matter how tight you tighten it down. I would spend more money.

Exactly what I expected
It is what it looks like, a simple stand for holding your computer. I wanted something to hold my laptop and give me flexible positions for filming stand up videos using the laptop camera. This stand has worked perfectly for that. The extension features are easy to adjust and feel secure. I don't feel like it is going to suddenly collapse on me. The only negative I can see is that the way the plate attaches to the top of the stand is a little flimsy and tends to wabble and jiggle just a little while you are typing, which if you are filming yourself and need to type, this can cause a lot of jiggle in the video. But I rarely need to type a lot while I'm doing videos so its not a problem for me. If it was, I could prably add duct tape or another solution to help stabilize it. Not sure what they could have done differently . The tray is large enough for a 17" laptop, but there's no room for a mouse. As my laptop, like most, have a touch pad, this isn't a deal breaker, and I knew that when I bought it, so its not a negative, just thought I would mention it. There is a little foam insert in the tray which helps keep the laptop secure, but its kind of cheap, basic foam and I anticipate this will probably fall apart quickly if it gets a lot of wear, but so far, so good. It is removable, and kind of a nice-to-have so if you took it out, or used almost any other kind of padding, it would be fine. Over all, it is nicely made, seems sturdy enough and is easy to adjust and move around. I'm happy with it.

You get what you pay for (not exactly a bad thing)
First off yes, this is an inexpensive stand likely made in China. Don't expect to be able to set a 50 pound device on it, but for a normal laptop or projector it should be just fine. I wanted something to put my Surface Go on so I could connect it to my digital guitar processor and make adjustments standing up for practice or live gigs. For that purpose it works great. I don't pound on my laptop, mostly track pad and clicks, and for that it seems to hold up well once I got it tight enough. The only issue was the first tier in the stand had to be super tight or the stand would slip down. -2 stars for that because it's a PITA. It comes with a little nylon bag for the stand so it's easy to throw into a road case. Basically you get what you pay for. If you expect roadworthy quality you will be disappointed. If you expect $40 quality you will be just fine :)

Solid stand with some decent features
I purchased this stand for use with a digital projector for outdoor movie night. They’re were several products I compared before purchasing this one and this had a few key features that appealed to me. It has a well sized top surface with a non-skid foam mat and elastic straps, a carrying bag for easy portability and when fully extended it is fairly tall. After a few nights of usage, this is what I found: The stand must be completely disassembled to fit in the carrying bag, but even then it it is difficult to get it to fit. Also the hold down straps aren’t very useful. Both of those trivial qualms aside, this is a good little compact stand that works just fine with my projector.

Great tripod we use for our outdoor projector, works great!
The media could not be loaded. We ordered a stand to use for our outdoor projector. We do movie night outside, our kids love it, but we were having to prop the projector up on a chair. Thankfully it’s a good quality projector that also has a built-in prop to angle but still it did seem like we should be able to come up with a better system. We were using a chair previously and the height was not going to be enough. I’ve included a video so you can see the set up, I did shoot it in the dark while we were watching the movies so sorry you can’t see better but you should be able to see the product in use doing exactly what it needs to do and doing it well! I’m so glad we got this, wish I thought to order it sooner.

Good product. Needs some improvement.
The assembly instructions were clear. I had to redo the projector facing from one side to another (the connector on the mounting plate is off-center. Finally got it to balance. The elastic strap was too small. I have it strapped but with great difficulty. Otherwise a great product.

Does the job but lacks stability
It was easy to assemble and does the job but it's wobbly and needs better stability at the section joints. The foot section is perfect but the extender sections do not sit well and do not secure good. That's not good considering there's a $500 projector sitting on top of it.

Great adjustment range; Needs mod to avoid slipping
This product seems to have the ability for height adjustment over the advertised range, but I'm pretty sure it requires removing one of the extension poles to get into the lowest setting, and stability may then be compromised somewhat. The friction adjusters that hold the telescoping poles in position do not work well and the poles will slip, so adding a rubber membrane of some sort is required to increase friction to prevent slipping. Maybe this is normally part of the package but was missing from mine? - hard to believe they overlooked this need. I kept the product b/c I wasn't able to find another product with as large an adjustable range, and I was willing to make the modifications. It's also not super strong, but I expect it will serve my needs well enough, for supporting my laptop.

Sturdy and strong
The media could not be loaded. Is a very good stand .sturdy strong ,easy to assemble ,most important to me is the adjustable height as I'm using it for movie projector in my backyard.I don't know why other customers are leaving bad reviews. To me is great unit .If anything changes I will update my review.

Cheap garbage.
This stand is absolute trash. You can't tighten it fully so it doesn't stay secure. I wanted to use a stand for a small light weight projector and it's an absolute nightmare. This is clearly I high market up product that's been drop shipped from a site that you could probably pay a fraction of the cost for. Save your money and skip this product.

Not as advertised
Stand is good if you put nothing on it. Locking mechanism doesn’t securely lock when laptop is put on it. Not sturdy enough to trust anything of value on it.

Unstable and won't stay upright
It's clearly designed wrong. Not only is it very wobbly, but even without any load it won't stay upright. After some more research, it looks like I'd have to spend at least $200 for a quality projector stand, so for my use case (can't hang the projector on the wall), I'll just buy an ikea lack shelf unit, remove all shelves besides the bottom and top one, and reinforce them with shelf brackets.

Almost broke my Macbook
Extremely poor quality product and terrible construction. I had to double zip tie the thing together just to use it, even then, my macbook pro went crashing to the ground. If this was $5.99, it would be a decent value. For the price, I expected some level of quality. Stay away if you are looking for a stand that you intend on using for anything valuable or fragile.
