Great book
Mr. Lee’s life story is very interesting. His language skill and superb level of education and knowledge plus his highly intelligent sense of humor made this a special book for my library.

This is an amazing read. He talks about golf like a religion
Who will play Sir Christopher in the movie! This is a Life, beyond what anyone could imagine! A WWII hero, real life spy, Born to a real Countess! Spoke 5 or 6 languages, Married for over 50 years to one woman to whom he proposed to on their 2nd date. Performed many of his own stunts. This is an amazing read. He talks about golf like a religion , but there are some funny anecdotes along with it. The insight into the business of an acting career is revealing, many aspiring actors would do well do read this.

Christopher Lee Speaks!
Christopher Lee offers his autobiography, describing his life in detail through more than 400 pages, illustrated with glossy photos inserts, some photos in color. Although undoudtedly saddled with Dracula for a long time to come, Lee has lived long enough to add another landmark performance as the wizard allied with Sauron in Lord of the Rings. Be warned that if you are looking for a lot of detail about Dracula, you will be disappointed. The fact is, autobiographies rarely get into the kind of movie-making detail many fans like. Italian lineage, school years, debriefer of returning pilots in North Africa, his early and later career, accopanied by humorous observations. Excellent read.

A Very Rare Book
And in very good condition. This is a great read as it documents perhaps the most unique life ever lived of someone who will sadly only be best known as an actor of slimy, evil characters. Too bad there is no e-book copy of it.

Sir Christopher, the Dark Knight of British Thrillers….
Much more of a personal & emotional insight than I would have expected from Sir Christopher. An all around delight, especially as he discusses his friendships with Peter and Vincent, and finds something good to say about projects that were beneath him and enthuses about his proudest accomplishment. I hope he has kept journals of the last two decades, with his work on The Hobbit and Hugo, his knighting, and his latest career as a Dark Lord of Metal.

Not enough on films
Christopher Lee has made many movies, but doesn't talk about many of them in this book. Instead, the first half of the book is endless family background and his war experiences. Finally, he talks about some of his films, only to repeatedly interrupt with golf stories. His look back at old friends (Cushing, Price, Karloff, even Robert Bloch) are warm and wonderful, but are much too short, barely covering one chapter. The book does have several good points, in addition to his remembering old friends. He never boasts about any of his performances, nor does he put down anyone he's ever worked with on film.

You can't go wrong with Chris Lee
Bought this as a gift for someone but actually read it before giving it to them. A funny, well-written book; Lee is a natural storyteller and this book will please both longtime and newfound fans.

He was a Golf Nut
An interesting book--the only complaints I have are 1) too much golf; 2) an American language editor should have gone over it before its release in the US. Lee was VERY idiomatic in his use of British slang, and no" translations" were provided. Otherwise, a fascinating look into a relatively obscure life.

In a class of his own.
Not what I expected about the man who played Dracula, A man of many talents, who would have thought that he can sing too.

Christopher Lee Autobiography
This is a very interesting book written by Sir Christopher Lee and the photos are well illustrated. I found this more enjoyable to read than his 1st autobiogaphy called Tall., Dark and Handsome.
