Jeanette MacDonald has created a delightful book! Her beautiful artwork combined with her magical storytelling makes for a unique and enjoyable read. I'm probably 40 years older than her "target" population but the 3 year old child that still resides within me loved this book! I don't have children of my own yet but when I do I will definitely be reading this book to them. Shoo-Shoo-Shoo-Sha-La-La sits in the waiting area of my Wellness Center and it attracts the attention of all the little ones who enter our space. My granddaughter absolutely loves dinosaurs they're all she thinks about!!!! I was so excited to read Noelle Jeanette's book not only for the dinosaurs but for the many messages. Noelle loves Jeanettes book and she is convinced it was written for her . The first time I read it to her we came to the part where the girls are in Drumheller Dinosaur park coincidentally Noelle was there in the summer. She whispered under her breath "How did she know"?. I love this book and I love that my granddaughter thinks it was written just for her.

Jeanette's story and illustrations are delightful. It's so tender and heartfelt. I wish for a Marbie in the lives of everyone I love. I can't wait to be a grandmother some day so I can share this with them.
