Q: How long does the battery last? Mine died after two weeks.

You need to use a small tool to gently pry her open and replace the battery!

Q: How can a rechargeable battery also be replaceable?

They DO make rechargeable CR2032 lithium ion button batteries. This unit has one of those. So, it is rechargeable and it is removable/replaceable. The unit comes with a short cord that connects the unit to a USB port for charging. A small LED light tells when the battery is charged.

Q: Does it come with the charge cord?

The one I have is battery=operated. When it runs out of battery energy, the battery must be replaced. There is no charging cord.
