Filling the mold is the hardest part of this product. To make it work, I have to fill the outside "lip" as well, which freezes and makes it a bit harder to remove after. However, without this, I only end up with half spheres. (Tried to use the small funnel that was included, but that didn't help.) The end result is a fun twist on the ice cubes.

I love the large ice cubes, and offering Co_vid ice amuses me greatly. I just wish it wasn't so hard to fill. A top that would funnel into the mold rather than finding a little funnel to fill it, would be nice.

The thickness of the ice was much thicker than the thickness of the water before it thickened into ice. 5/5 for thickness.The mold was a gift for someone (it was the clear star of the White Elephant!), so I don't actually know how to rate it on "easy to remove" or "easy to use" because I haven't used or removed any of it. I feel confident that the thickness was well up to snuff.Would highly recommend this product for White Elephants. Or, whatever feels good to you.

I don't know about you, but things have me feeling anxious lately. From the pandemic to job insecurity and social unrest, I could really use a chuckle and a nice relaxing drink. That is exactly what this ice tray delivered. The product was exactly as advertised. It is a great talking piece at our neighborhood outdoor social distanced happy hours. More than that, as I relax with a drink and watch the sunset and ponder all the uncertainty out there, this product reminds me that as people we can all choose to smile, laugh and make the best of it. Thank you for reminding us of what makes us all partners in this together. I can't wait to give this as a gift to family and friends and share the sentiment that we will get through this. Bottom halves shape up right but for the top halves it's a different story. The top halves have dismantled spikes and they don't look as good as advertised. They do keeps drinks cold though. I would get a different type of mold. Don't waste your money on this one.

Funnel is useless. Can release is ok, I only use half of form

So I got this for my son in law thinking it was mine grenades...its not. It's a virus germ mold. Lol I'll wear my glasses next time. But it does look like grenades when frozen. My son in law loves it. Perfect ice size for any drink and doesn't melt as fast as ice cubes. Flexible tray pops ice right out. Small enough to not need a lot of room in freezer.

Several issues - even after washing (first use) residue sloughed off into drink. Gray plastic round bits (excess material) detach from forms. Difficult to fill and included funnel is useless. Best use is as a gag gift, just not practical as ice form. This will become a dust collector in my closet - would not buy again.

The plastic silicone tray does not keep the cubes separate. As soon as I tried to fill it the top and bottom split apart and filled with water for one big ice cube. Ver disappointingEdit- using four push pins around the outside I found it held the top in place pretty well. Not ideal but better than nothing.

Bought these for a friend who was retiring from the Nhs she loved them. We are scientists 😂

Had to use weights to keep it closed as lid kept rising and losing the water into the cavity between.

I am a bit disappointed.

Loved the idea of these but they just didn't work. As soon as water was poured into the closed mold, the top half would float up and water would start leaking out. We had to put a bulldog clip on each side to hold the mold together when filling and freezing it. Very disappointed.
