Utilizzerò questo prodotto per un NAS personale e in un ambiente dove il livello di rumorosita non e` importante. Avendo certe competenteze nel settore so cosa ho comprato e sono sicurramente soddisfatto. Il prodotto e` troppo complesso per essere valutato tecnicamente su Amazon. Invito i curiosi a studiare le informazioni disponibili del genere sui siti che hanno queste competenze.Averto tuttavia i principianti che questo non e` un HDD per un computer di casa o ufficio dove la silenziosita e` importante in quanto il livello di rumorosita potrebbe essere fastidioso.

Good Drive for Backup
I had ordered 2 units of the WD 6TB UltraStar separately but was amazed by Amazon delivery where the first ordered arrived later than my second ordered which was one day apart. Installed both drives into my Synology NAS, booted it up, both drives were working well for my intended backup. I was very happy with both WD drives purchased but I wanted to share these drives were nosier than the WD Red Pro.

Prestazioni impressionanti (220mb di trasferimento fissi vs i 100 degli hdd normali da 7200rpm), ho notato che il disco fa un rumore molto forte mentre carico i livelli nei videogiochi, all'inizio mi sono preoccupato ci fosse qualcosa ma sembra rientrare nella norma per questo tipo di disco.Essendo Hitachi / HGST il disco si presenta in una busta antistatica sigillata ed ha una semplicissima etichetta bianca sopra, non l'immagine che viene indicata su Amazon, ma questo ovviamente non influisce sulla qualità del prodotto.

Tutto OK ...o quasi.
Utilizzato questo disco come memoria di massa su desktop. Tutto funziona bene anche dopo settimane di utilizzo sia pur non intensivo, il disco è OK ai controlli eseguiti e le prestazioni quelle attese.Unico neo il fatto che il sacchetto antistatico del disco fosse aperto e non sigillato e questo lascia qualche dubbio.Imballo per la spedizione adeguato.
