Exceptional performance and fit, minor complaints at price point
I've owned several pairs of in-ear headphones, I've just unboxed these and and am testing them for the first time. I purchased these headphones and am giving my unbiased review without any compensation. I found this pair because I was looking for something that I can work out with that will stay in my ears comfortably. I can confidently say off the bat that this is the best fitting pair of headphones that I've worn. The ear hooks out of the box hugged my ears perfectly, though the are pliable enough to mold to any desirable shape and maintain their integrity. I've flexed one earhook around to different shapes which held well, but I've since bent it back to almost the original shape which hugs the contours of my ears perfectly. I can tug down on the cord with several pounds of pressure without breaking the nice seal the in-ear buds make. Even after pulling quite hard, the hooks stay around the ear so you can push the bud back into the ear easily. I am looking forward to working out with these. As far as sound goes, the bass is stronger and cleaner than the "Soul" headphones by Ludacris that I was using previously, though it does distort painfully at the highest volumes like most earbuds do. The most comfortable volume is clear and loud at about 65% of my iPhone setting. I have zero complaints about the performance of sound, especially for the price point. I have an over-performing pair of over ear headphones by Sony that I'll use when at home, but these are more than adequate, even exceptional, as far as sound goes for being out and about.I do notice right away just a couple of troubling design features however. The earhook memory foam pieces are entirely separate from the (relatively thin and flimsy) headphone cord itself. On the plus side, you can remove the earhooks if you want and have the cords come straight down. On the negative side, it creates an acute articulating angle to the sound driver which dangles freely. This actually contributes to the comfortable fit from the earhook to the earbud, but my gut tells me that it will become a point of wear and tear over time if I treat these like the rest of my earbuds, coiled in my back pocket to take some abuse. Another downside of the design is that the 3.5mm connection is straight on. That will actually help to access the audio jack if you have a bulky phone case, but in my situation with a slimmer cover, it creates an obtrusion from my phone in my pocket which is less comfortable than a 90 degree turn that you find in other headphones, and could act as another point for wear and tear.In the end, I am totally stoked on this purchase. I think I might set them aside for exercise use instead of daily use to extend the lifetime, but because of the nice sound performance and in-line mic at $16, i just might use these on the daily to see how long it takes to burn through them and buy another pair.

Seemed promising but one ear fell apart on after the 3rd use
I purchased this item in December, but do to my own holiday business I didn't pick it up right away. Amazon delivered before I was even ready for pick up and I was excited. I have been searching for months (well years trying but month searching online) for earbuds that will fit in my ear and STAY ON while jogging, running or biking. After much sifting through reviews I felt pretty optimistic about these. SONXTRONIC XDR-1000 BB Premium Fashion Soft Touch Earhook Earbud Sport Running Headphones with Microphone Bass Boxes Design  I have small ears I guess and every pair I have tried fall out within 30 seconds to a minute of any movement. I have used the full on head phones with the over the head style kind but really wanted something less bulky and obvious while nodding on the sea wall or rollerblading . I see many people with ear buds or types at gyms and trails so hoped I could find something too. After much research (with a limited price range) I thought I would give these a go and they were on sale .The verdict:1) they did stay on my ear because of the flexible wrap around ( it is removable and adjustable), so I wasn't having to put the "buds" back in every minute when I moved. They did come with 3 sizes for foam/rubber comfortable ends for the ear buds to fit your size ( a little warming they do come on and off fairly easily so careful not to lose them)2) The sound quality was decent for the type of product and price; however my main goal of these was just to have a set of headphones/earbud I could take out on a run/ bike/ workout or even bus ride that actually stayed in my ear: I have a great set of headphones I got as a gift for exceptional quality listening for both playing and listening to music so I wasn't using that as a major factor I just wanted decent sound for music and podcasts. was to have them stay in while I go about my activities.3) THE BAD: I only used them 2 times and the ear piece came off and apart on one side and no longer will stay or hole the bud in place which is very frustrating . I don't know how, but between taking them from my pocket and putting them in my ear before a run on the third day the over the ear rubber bit came off on one side so now doesn't stay on. I don't want to be completed negative as I will try follow up and see if any exchange can me made but I do worry that it fell apart so easily. And I'm not optimistic since my return or exchange period ended Jan31, so I worry I'm out of luck and another waste of money in a quest for just a solid pair of earbuds for jugging, riding the bus, biking and general walking and working out.If Anyone has a suggestion of a product that really worked for them I would be ever so grateful .

Fabulous Earbuds With Peculiarities
I agree with the other 5-star reviews and will not repeat accolades. I purchased two pairs of these because they sound better than my $125 bluetooth headset. Two comments buyers may find helpful that I did not see mentioned are: The silicone earpiece is split which allows the earbud to be properly adjusted to fit into the ear canal while fitting over the ear correctly as well. Once adjusted properly, the security and the seal in the ear canal is EXCELLENT and it stays put. The shape of the earbud is angled, so if you do not feel a proper fit, you probably have them in the wrong ear (assuming you do not have a defective product). I noticed that most earbuds are to have the side with the controls and the mic placed on the right side...these are the opposite...the mic must be on the left for the buds to fit properly into the ear canal. It is somewhat peculiar to note that in this position, the "SONX" printed on the bud is upside-down.

Best clip headphones I've tried so far
I have struggled finding over-the-ear "clip" style headphones that stay adequately put while I am on the treadmill running. Usually the speakers aren't able to stay in my ears -- maybe my ears are just funny shaped! :) In any case, these work much better than previous ones I have tried, though there is still some loosening that happens while I am running, so manual re-adjustment is needed from time to time. But, the sound carries well and the rubber cover over the speaker piece is comfortable. One potential improvement would be to add an adjustable piece to make the clips tighter against your ear or looser depending on what you need at the time.
