Inca's Food Mixed Sampler - Aji Amarillo, Aji Panca 7.5 OZ (2 Jars)

Love the flavors and quality of these pepper pastes. Returned for a second round. This time I ordered the pair instead of the 3 pack that's also available. Not being familiar with Peruvian food this pasted has introduced me to recipes that I've never tried before, but find myself going back to over and over. It's also great for getting creative and adding flavor to non-Peruvian favorites.

So good in my Peruvian dishes! I use the Amarillo one more than the other but both are fantastic.

These items are hard to find (except on Amazon) and add tremendous flavor. I often make a Melissa Clark Peruvian Chicken recipe that uses both sauces and it's a favorite! This vendor takes the time to wrap the sauces well in bubble wrap so that they arrive intact. And they're delicious!

I love these chili pastes. I would not order the two-pack option again though. The jars were wrapped in the same bubble wrap envelope with no padding in the box to keep them from shifting back and forth during shipment. That means one of the jars arrived broken.

There's a a 5 star recipe on NYTimes for Peruvian Chicken with spicy cilantro sauce. It uses both of these pastes in the marinade and the sauce (latter is just crazy good on anything). Can't imagine not having these jars in my fridge.

Son picantes sobretodo la amarilla. Así que cuidado con pasarse en las comidas jeje El ají amarillo es perfecto para hacer ají de gallina y el ají panca para aderezarlo en los estofados y el pollo.

The fact that One of the jars came open and I was unable to return it is annoying.

Superb quality chili paste for chicken or steak
