This shawl is fantastic! It's super thin, so I wondered how it would hold up to sudden freeze weather. Having tried it before giving to my disabled mother, it is super warm! I thought of something thin that wasn't super weighty so it didn't put stress on her back. This shawl is PERFECT. When she wears a jacket for longer trips outside, we can use the shawl as a head wrap to keep her head, ears, and neck warm without having 3 or 4 other pieces of clothing to dress and undress.The reviews were accurate!Btw, we live in the South so I can't speak to this shawl's ability to warm up someone who gets 12" of snow every year. But our frosts and freezes are still shocking to the system and winter clothes are mandatory (for about 2 months out of the year).

Goes with a lot of colors and looks flattering on.

The picture reflects much more vibrant colors which is disappointing. However, the fabric is soft and the style is great, over all good quality.

Just as beautiful in reality as pictured. It's lightweight though but still warm.

I bought this wrap for my wife and she loved it. It is ample and it is made of soft material. It is large enough that my wife, who is 5 feet tall ,can cover pretty much of her small frame.She is the type person who is cold all the time and I am not. This wrap is the perfect solution.

I have used this a lot more than I expected. I will often place it in the backseat if we are headed somewhere and the weather could get a bit chilly or windy - or if we will be inside/outside often. This is also great to travel with - folds nicely with minimal wrinkling. It can also be rolled up and placed in a tote-like purse/bag if you are walking around. I used this a lot when we were touring campuses - in and out of buildings, not wanting to deal with a coat, etc. It can also be folded over your lap if you are sitting at an event. My only caution is that there is a lot of material. This is not an issue for me personally. But my elderly mother, for whom I first purchased this, is quite tiny and it was way too much material for her.

I found several nice shaws in a store after I ordered this one.They were less money and much better quality. I would not order this item again.
