Fantastic kit great detail going to be used in a diorama. Well worth the money spent.

The model itself is a good well detailed representation. The only thing missing is the engine, only important if you want to have the engine compartment open. Tamyia offers the Engine and Maintenance set (at Amazon) which includes the engine among other things. You should really consider both of these kits if you want a complete Kubelwagen. For the detail addicted there are numerous aftermarket photoetch and resin kits available to super detail and enhance this kit. The reason for the 4 stars is that you really need both the kits to make this a really good model. It took 3 tries to get this kit delivered. Of course they did keep on trying until successful. Hats off for that.

Very well moulded parts with no flash found. A great military starter kit. not too many parts, so a novice could put this together.
