Everyone needs a Tape Measure
You can't go wrong with Milwaukee. I was tired of borrowing and always looking for a tape measure when I needed one. Now mine is part of my kitchen and I know right where it is when I need it. The tool is comfortable to use and works perfectly.Highly recommended.

Always needed
I had a tape measure until I moved out of the house after a house fire. The contents of the house were packed and moved off-site during the repairs. After everything was unpacked, my tape measure had disappeared.

Somewhat disappointed
For a $30 tape measure, I'd expect it to be a little more robust. I'm a carpenter and thought this would be good to use as we switch to metric, but the tape is thin and narrow. It'd be a lot easier to read if the blade was wider, and it'd be less flimsy. The numbers that are highlighted on the inch side are the 1' OC instead of the 16" in red and 1' marks in black like what's typical. And the cm side has every 20cm in red. Also, the hook on the blade is small and can hardly grab anything. I wouldn't buy this again.Aside from all this, the shell is pretty good, and seems to have good drop protection. 3 stars because it is accurate, and decent. But it should be a $20 tape measure.

How Long!
An excellent tape measure, the tape pulls out easily with a nice sound. The markings are easily read even in low light. Considering it's an 8metre tape, it doesn't take too much room in the pocket or on your tool belt. Also, it's not too heavy. I suppose being a plastic body helps. I have dropped it a few times but it has suffered no damage. Not the cheapest and certainly not the dearest, but well worth the money and seems to be fairing well on-site with daily usage.
