I've been thinking of replacing my fluorescent fixtures in my shop for some time now, but gosh! What a chore !?!? Then, I did a search and read an article and watched a video about THESE specific bulbs. This brand comes highly recommended and they came in at a good price. I was pleasantly surprised that I could remove my old 4 ft T12 fluorescent bulbs (Yes, those big fat T12's) and simply take THESE bulbs, plug them in with a quick twist and Wham!!! 💡 Light. No changing fixtures, no changing tombstones (those little white things that hold a fluorescent tube in place), just plug them in. Just to make it clear, "Yes, these special "hybrid A + B" T8 bulbs will fit your old 4 ft. T12 fixture. If the ballast is NIT compatible, you may need to clip a few wires and do a quick bypass, but in most cases, you just "plug & play". There are videos that feature the simple bypass procedure on YOUTUBE but I did not have to do this for fixtures. Old T12 fuxtures.

My office room has two 4 (4 ft) tube light panels. After installing these bulbs, they were so bright that I had to take 2 of the bulbs out, one from each panel. Description on their Amazon site states these can be directly wired or can be used with existing ballasts. These do work well with existing (newer) electronic ballasts. And there is no hum. If there is a humming noise, it means your ballast is going bad and needs to be changed.Description on the box in part states, "This tube is designed with user experience as the defining motivator". Just what does that mean? Please make the change to this nonsense phrase by getting rid of it, you have a great product as is.

This were used to replace the old florescent tube lights in my small office building. The LED fixtures initially purchased from Lowe's doubled in price in four months so I began to look for an alternative. This is the perfect solution. Simply slide them in just as you would the florescent lights and WOW! The color and brightness gave the rooms a face lift at a reasonable price. It has only been a few months so I cannot speak as to durability but I am very happy with these bulbs and will definitely purchase again.

Great product at a reasonable cost.

I was a bit skeptical when I bought this, but it turned out to be exactly as advertised! My ballast wasn’t on the compatible list, but I took a chance and it worked! I read in another review that just because it’s not on the compatible list doesn’t mean it won’t work, it just means that specific brand hasn’t been tested yet. Replaced 6 fixtures (2 tubes each) and noticed that 2 of the fixtures didn’t work. I discovered that it was because of ballasts that have gone bad. So I followed the directions on removing the ballast and doing a direct wire (it really does only take 5-10 minutes to do) and it worked! The one thing I noticed right away was that the hard wired was much brighter than the ones where I left the ballast on. I ended up rewiring (removing the ballasts) the rest of the fixtures and it is really bright! Very happy with the purchase and with the modifications. Bonus: removing the ballast saves even more energy on top of the led savings while being brighter!

I used the Gray Wago connections to remove the ballast and direct wire these LED bulbs into my old fluorescent fixtures (removing the ballast).These suckers are bright. Love them. They work one sided or two sided. I did my first fixture double sided to do less wiring conversion. It worked well. After buying WAGO connectors, I did the rest one sided due to using less wire overall, and the install/fixture being cleaner looking.I dropped one and shattered the glass all over the floor, my fault.Also the padded box is good for shoving the old fluorescent bulbs into, for disposal or storage.

This is my second purchase; clear this time and frosted the first time. For performance and price this is a top product. Hopefully a few years from now I'll be able to say durability was top notch too. As you might expect, the clear gives a little more light at the expense of harshness but not too harsh for my workshop. I redeployed the frosted ones from my shop to other areas of my home. Highly recommended.

I purchased 20 Led bulbs -- They came well packaged even though the box was damaged there was no damage to the bulbs. Installation instructions were easy to follow with options. I decided to go the route of removing the ballasts from the fixtures. I replaced 4 bulbs in the basement of the house and 12 in my shop. The improvement in brightness to the shop and basement was excellent.

Early installation. I had old ballasts but the instructions were clear how to modify the wiring to bypass the ballasts. They can be installed directly with changing any wiring of newer ballasts.Had installed few tubes a few months ago and they are working without any problem.

100% would recommend these bulbs.They are made of glass, emit a very nice colour of white.Using these in our cultural centre and a convenient store. Works awesome!
