Anthelios Melt-In Milk Sunscreen SPF 60, Sunscreen For Body & Face, Broad Spectrum SPF + Antioxidants, Oil Free, Lightweight & Fast Absorbing, Oxybenzone Free

I've tried countless sunscreens over the years, and La Roche-Posay Anthelios Melt-In Milk SPF 60 is hands down my favorite. It's lightweight, non-greasy, and provides excellent protection without irritating my sensitive skin. What I love: Truly melts into the skin: It absorbs quickly and leaves a velvety finish, not a white cast or greasy residue. Lightweight and comfortable: I can wear it under makeup without feeling like I have a heavy layer on my face. High SPF with broad spectrum protection: I feel confident that my skin is protected from both UVA and UVB rays. Water resistant: It stays put even when I'm sweating or swimming (reapply as directed, of course!). Great for sensitive skin: I have eczema-prone skin, and this sunscreen hasn't caused any irritation or breakouts. No white cast: It blends in seamlessly, even on my medium-tan skin tone. Minor drawbacks: Price: It's a bit pricier than some drugstore sunscreens, but the quality and performance are worth it. Slight fragrance: It has a faint sunscreen scent, which I don't mind, but it might be noticeable to some.

I've been using the La Roche-Posay Anthelios Melt-In Milk Sunscreen SPF 60 for a few weeks now, and it's been fantastic. The texture is smooth and absorbs quickly without leaving a greasy residue. It doesn't leave a white cast, which is a huge plus for my medium skin tone. I've used it during outdoor activities, and it holds up well, even with sweating. My skin feels moisturized and protected, and I haven't experienced any breakouts. It's fragrance-free and suitable for sensitive skin, which is important to me. Overall, it's a reliable sunscreen that I plan to continue using.

I bought a few of the top sunblocks from the Consumer Reports list from this year (2019). This one is top of the list and tested at 100% and is great. Double checked price at Target and they tend to charge $41 for it (large tube - 16 ounce). So it is top notch protection, and also top price. However, no breakouts, which is nice if you care. I care enough for this to matter, though frankly I'll take zits over cancer. I've put it on my face and neck for pool deck (2 hours, no burn, reapplying) and running (under 1 hour, sweaty, mid afternoon, summer sun in June and July) and avoided burns entirely. Seems to have decent moisturizing effects and it's not super oily/greasy, and actually does have a good melt-in feel. I also tried the smaller zinc-oxide based mineral milk melt-in from LaRoche Posay, but found the zinc's whiteness wouldn't disappear, leaving me somewhat purple looking. Not a good look at the office. And i think it was even more expensive per ounce. And for kids' sunsticks (like the glue stick variety), Target brand "Up" 55 SPF for kids tops the list.

I have very fair skin and needed an every day face sunblock. I breakout easily with sun block and have rosacea. This sunblock is perfect! Not a strong smell. Very light not greasy at all. I wear this sunblock everyday all year round . I will be repurchasing. Bottle is big size - will last a long time

Excellent Sunscreen that absorbs well into the skin. Unfortunately, this will sting your eyes if you apply it under them. It's great any where else. I actually use the mineral version (on the right) under my Eyes and the milk version everywhere else.

Light weight, moisturizing and works well under makeup. No white cast on olive skin. ❤️

The good. Like it’s higher SPF counterpart, it is a high quality sunscreen from a reliable skincare company which provides excellent UVA protection, particularly at the longer wavelengths of UVA when compared to its other American counterparts including Neutrogena’s Helioplex line. It has no fragrance and is water resistant, making it appropriate for outdoor use. The bad. Like it’s SPF 100 counterpart, it is too greasy for oily or combination skin types and people living in humid environments. Would likely be appropriate for people living in dry climates like the Southwest, or for people with dry skin. But for the rest of us, it’s a shiny mess. The ugly. In a strange twist, whereas the SPF 100 sunscreen doesn’t leave a white cast or pill, the SPF 60 melt in milk leaves a white cast which makes it untenable in areas such as the eyebrows. For reference I have dark brown/blackish hair and type IV skin on the Fitzpatrick scale. It’s not the worst white cast I’ve experienced, but was particularly garish in the way it made my eyebrows appear. It also pilled in a very annoying way when applied over other skincare products. TL;DR The SPF 100 version is better all around. Neither melt in milk sunscreen is appropriate for oily or combination skin types or people living in humid climates. The SPF 60 version leaves a white cast and pills (unlike the SPF 100 version which while also too shiny for my combo skin in a humid climate, neither has a white cast nor pills).
