We like these metal caps better than the plastic ones and they are always available at a good price. We use them on our maple syrup bottles. Quality is good. Seals well.

we make our own wine for personal use and the bottle are nice but if you lose a cap you need some-so i bought these and they fit the bottles i am using, be advised they are different sizes so make sure-these fit the 750ml bottle and im happy i was able to order some as never hurts to have extra caps.

Like another commenter here, I feel bad knocking these down in the review but the description is wrong and I wasted my money. They are good quality lids and I'm sure they would be great if you had bottles that fit them but they do NOT fit standard screw-top wine bottles. The diameter is right but the screw threads don't even come close. So what do they fit? They do fit a standard soda bottle. They do fit a syrup bottle in the cupboard. They do fit the isopropyl alcohol bottle in the medicine cabinet. They don't fit the short-thread tops of many water bottles. I'm not sure how the size (including threading) is supposed to be described but if you're looking for wine bottle caps, keep looking. Update: The description from the manufacturer is correct (28-400 thread), I just didn't know how to interpret that. The bad data was in one of the responses to the questions. Bumping my rating back up because it wasn't the vendor's fault.

Good for the purpose

Works for the Northern mountain screw top bottles, but does not work with the recycled screw top wine bottles I originally wanted to use these for. Buyer beware: Apparently not all 28-400 wine bottles are the same. I've found that the plastic 28-400 screw caps work, so far, universally on any screw type wine bottle I've come accross.

There is nothing like combing through a drawer and finding a growler cap, flipping it over, and discovering that NOBODY washed it and it's full of some kind of abomination, some schimmel or growth... I'm so glad to have some alternatives because nothing will deter a tasting of fresh craft brew more than moldy growth... Great product and thank you.

I like to make syrups. These work perfectly to re-use all the syrup bottles.

Bottle caps rust after a few weeks

No fault to product. we were hoping caps would fit standard 750ml wine bottles. But it didn't therefore useless to us.
