My cat loves to play with a laser pointer, but I find it a bit tedious to wave a laser pointer around for 15 or 20 minutes trying to entertain her. This toy gives my cat the same (or possibly better) level of entertainment without me having to stop what I'm doing to play with her. I like that the product comes with three different mounting options (suction cup for window, stand for sitting on a table, and hardware for mounting to a wall). I have mine sitting on a shelf plugged in all the time (so I don't have to remember to charge it). The motion activation feature is nice, but I ended up activating it myself on accident all the time, so I generally leave the device off entirely when the cat isn't playing with it. Sometimes I leave it on overnight so that she can play with it if she gets bored (instead of meowing outside my bedroom door!).

My cats love to play with lasers so I thought about purchasing this product due to the reasonable price and ratings/reviews. This product does do the job by keeping my cats occupied and entertained at times, but will get bored because of the repetitive patterns (rotates in circles/oval motion depending on the angle). This product automatically shuts off which is great when my cats aren't using it. What's also helpful is that this has a motion detector which is very useful that it automatically turns back on when it detects a motion nearby. I like how you are able to adjust the angle of it and have the option of hanging it in the wall or window (using the suction). In addition, I love the fact that you can recharge this instead of replacing batteries.The first one I purchased back in August, the laser went out within 3 months. So I contacted the seller to request for a replacement. They were very prompt with their response and then sent me a new one that came in 5 days. So far I have a great experience with this!

After using it for more than a month I noticed that laser ray disappears occasionally. This issue actually increasing. At first the ray would disappear for second or two. Now it does not beam much. The product was handled with care and never fell down. I wish I could still return it and I do not see any warranty. Waste of money.

My cat's night light. Best for kittens, as older cat's often don't really know what to do with it. Lol, I recommend that you buy a Lazer cat pen and see if your cat likes playing with it. If your cat dose, then buy this for play when your not around, like off too work or sleep time. They run around and have fun trying to catch it.If it does play with it, this is great for warding off, kitty, abandonment, that leads to over grooming. It goes on if anything moves in the area, goes off if nothing is moving. So your cat can play all day or night batteries last well charge up in a few hours, or minute's, as needed. You can leave it plugged in if you prefer, three different ways to mount it. Never look into the Lazer or place it so cat might. So they explained how to place it. My cat likes it for a night light, it only runs 5 mins but she's asleep by then. Soon as she goes by it, it comes on in the morning or whatever time she's in front of it.

My dachshunds absolutely love for this toy. From sun up to win down they are obsessed with chasing "red bug". Needles to say an automatic, motion detecting unit was a must. This was the 4th one I've bought in maybe 2 years (different sellers, same product) the laser stops working. It's turned on and the laser mechanism is moving but the red light stays to flicker less and less until it just stupid lighting at all. My dogs get frustrated cause they hear it running but don't see the light. I really wish there was a better made version of a moron activated automatic Lazer toy because of buy it. I'm done replacing this cheaply made unit.I recieved my replacement 5/18/21. I noticed last night 5/27 the laser is already spotty, it flickers and stops lighting but you can see the laser moving inside. It should be lit.My 5 dogs are trained rat hunters, very high prey instinct, very high energy. At least one of them is playing with this thing at least 18 hours a day. I really wish the company would fix this issue. I can't not have this in my house. My dogs get bored and destructive without it now.Still waiting for my refund. This toy is a life saver. We just lost the Queen of our cat pack leaving our lil baby kitty by herself. She's been bored and lonely, so I thought I'd give this toy a try because of the sensor. Has 2 speeds, slow and fast basically. The fast... is fast. My lil kitty is also lazy. Im Sure a more active prey insane cat would love that speed tho. It did need a full charge out of the box even tho it was plugged in, instructions say "3 hr charging". It's unclear to me if it's only good for 3 hours or it takes 3 hrs to charge. I think the latter. Anyways, great buy and it's also adorable.

I used this product as something to keep my cats entertained while I was away. After a while the laser inside stopped working and was practically dislodged from the movement it makes. I would need to disassemble it and find out how to fix it in order for it to work properly again. If it wasn’t for that, the laser would have continued working because you plug it into the wall. Overall disappointed, because I maybe got a month out of the product before I had to try and fix it.
