Good product
The stool was easy to assemble, perfect fit on the bolts, holes etc. All needed parts were included. The stool is the perfect height for my needs and appears sturdy.

Solid
Finally, a good sturdy garage stool. I have had a couple of stools that ended up cheep, wobbly and the last one pretty much had a leg fold up under me. This one is a heavy duty stool. Assembled with an extra ring engineered in it I believe made all the difference along with a little heavier gauge metal. Only complaint if not just an observation is that it could use just a bit more cushion.

Not as bad as some of the reviews make it out to be.
It goes together easy enough. It's cheap Chinese construction, so not everything lines up perfectly... but I really didn't have any problems getting it together. All the parts were there. The directions were adequate.Yes, the padding on the top is pretty minimal. I just unstapled the cover, put some more foam and batting on top of it (you can get it at any fabric store for a few dollars), and stapled the cover back on.I haven't had any problems with the bearings falling out, and I've been using it for a while. If you are really heavy... especially if you are constantly leaning way over while in the stool (which will put a lot of stress on the plastic retaining ring in a narrow area), I suspect it might fail in time. But, I'm 200lbs and have been using it for months without an issue.Overall, don't expect the world for a handful of pennies. If you want something of really high quality with a lot of padding... it's going to cost you at least twice what you are paying for this product. If you want something adequate for cheap, this is exactly what you will get.

Very Sturdy Stool
Good value especially if it’s on sale otherwise it’s a little pricey. Easy assembly. Heavyweights like me need one of these even if you don’t catch it on sale.

When I’m working in my shop and my wife comes and sits on this and her birthday suit that gives me the clue !

Swivel bearing is useless
I've only had this stool for about 4 weeks. First off, it's sturdy, easy to assemble and looks nice at my work bench. I bought this one mainly for the swivel seat. I get up often to go to the lathe or mill then sit back down to work at my bench. This stool was just "OK" from the start. On first use, the swivel was stiff but loosened up over time. The bead or seam around the top edge also cuts into the backs of my legs when I wear shorts which is about 100% of the time. That alone is quite uncomfortable I can see this as a potential problem for anyone wearing anything but denim. Last week the swivel got so loose the ball bearings started falling out. Not sure why. The seat got so dangerous to use I removed the swivel and screwed the seat directly to the frame. I'm quite miffed that the seat doesn't swivel now but at least I can sit on it. I'm now in the market for a new stool or a new swivel plate. Until then I have to live with a stool I don't want.
