I’m using this Avene brand sunscreen spf 50 since long before but every time purchased it from Nykaa. This time on Nykaa it was out of stock and I found it on Amazon, so in rush I ordered the same but when I received product, it had 2018 packaged and expire date in Aug’2021. I thought, if product expire after 8 month of purchase then it is ok to use, but NO.. I was totally wrong, after using this product I found allergic reaction on my whole face that means either product already expired and seller tempted with dates or else any other reason but this allergic reaction is due this product as per my dermatologist suggestion. This is really very nice sunscreen of avene brand, for sensitive skin type people. But, All are requested to please don’t buy such products from Amazon as they send this kind of product with packaging date of 2018-19. I also purchased Avene brand brightening serum and cleanser from Amazon, and had same issue. Packing date in 2018 & Expire date in Aug 2021. I never expect this kind of thing from Amazon. I already used these all products, thus unable to return and my money is totally wasted.

Bottle pump is not working properly but I must say product is very effective and simply Osm. I purchased again another bottle but again I find pump is not working properly

Its an amazing product for sensitive oily skin people..the best..doesn't gives a grey residue..super convenient..I won't switch to any other sunscreen now!!

Worst customer care service from amazon and the product seems already opened and manufacturing date is 2018 and going to expire in aug 2021. Totally unworthy for this high price. Completely disappointed.

This is an AMAZING sunscreen from avene, and that is an understatement. I'd need a whole day to count all the advantages of this sunscreen product. Then why on earth am i rating this so low? To summarise it for you, cloudtail and even abott (who is an authorised retailer for pierre fabre products in india) is selling incredibly old stock of these sunscreens. The thing is, sunscreens tend to lose their efficacy the longer they sit on the shelf and are nearing their expiration date. So for the all the wonderous UVA protection that this fabulous European formula supposedly offers is lost by the time you start using this. Say it has a UVAPF/PPD rating of 30 and the fact this expires in the next few months means you're barely getting the protection of PPD 5. That's right. Demand these greedy resellers to stop being stingy and to buy fresh stock from the company. In Europe, you could sue the sellers for this. You're not gonna believe this but this is precisely why I'm importing my sunscreens from europe. Imagine that, this problem is so widespread that i have to resort to paying around 50% extra in customs just so i can buy fresh sunscreens. You have no idea how frustrated and angry i am.
