Nylon 3x5 Foot Usmc Marine Corps Flag Sewn Nylon

The flag is actually quite nice and looks to be decently made "from china" I have not been able to find an embroidered US made Marine Corps Flag anywhere online so I finally went with this one.The fabric feels nice and sturdy, the embroidery was done very poorly as there are Irish pendants everywhere but I expected that for the price listing of $21.42 + $4.99 shipping, the quality is actually a lot better then I thought it would be though.The coloring of the water in the globe is Gray not blue as you will see in the pictures I took.The flag seems to measure 58 1/2 inches wide x 35 1/2 inches tall (I saw some questions on its actual measurements).The flag is made in China and labeled that its distributed by Ramson's Imports, Inc in Ohio ( RIOhio.com is the url listed on the bag hanger ).I gave a 3 star due to the flags not being Nylon as stated in the product description, I cant even be sure if their claim of 600 denure is correct.=============================== de·ni·er1 - /'deny'r/noun: denier; plural noun: deniersa unit of weight by which the fineness of silk, rayon, or nylon yarn is measured, equal to the weight in grams of 9,000 meters of the yarn and often used to describe the thickness of hosiery.===============================Nylon is suppose to fly better at a cost of a little life of the flag as compared to polyester that will droop more and require higher winds which is what I was looking for...UPDATE: I have reduced my review down to 2 stars after getting a reply to an email asking why I did not get a Nylon flag as the Item description stated in multiple areas, and the seller acknowledging that it must be a mistake and 24 hour have gone by with no retraction of the item or change to the item description stating that it is not in fact nylon as it states all over the item page and the seller telling me I should contact the sellers in advance and ask if the item description is accurate....Below will be the reply I received:**********************************************************Hello and thanks for the purchase. finally got this out of the package and was excited to fly it, colors are great and it is on the thicker side for material... but that is all the good to say, have not even had it up two weeks and already the corner sewing has come loose and now is frayed.... kinda worthless imo

There is a tag on the bag that says this is made in China. No big surprise there.It is nylon and embroidered on both sides as described, however the colors are off. The product pictures show two different flags. One is red with a light blue globe. The other is maroon with a navy globe. I thought that maybe the picture was just dark. Obviously I was mistaken.There is no indication which version you will get. I received the dark one.Also, the ribbon in the eagle's mouth was not trimmed properly so it loses a star for quality too.Considering the price (mid-twenties), I know that I cant expect the quality of an official unit standard, but the colors really put me off. Since the description mentioned that this flag is officially licensed, I expected a higher quality. Apparently the license is for the use of our emblem, not how it is portrayed.In the event that I am nit-picking, I asked another Marine for his initial opinion without mentioning my gripes. He said it looked fine to him. While I am not completely satisfied, maybe it will work for you too.

The color, in my colors, stayed good looking and bright after nearly 12 months of 24/7 outdoor flying, in all conditions. However after about a year, the hem on the two lightweight polyester flags sewn together, frayed and the flags became separated, rendering it unserviceable. Given the low cost, I've purchased another to try one more time. Also, be advised this flag is "made in China", which is nearly sacrilege.

This is the third USMC flag that I've purchased from this company. Over the years, I've tried flags from several manufacturers, but this is by far the best and most attractive that I've found. I fly this flag, alongside the Stars and Stripes (lighted of course) 24/7 and this flag looks good, even after a full years service.

I've had this flag for maybe one full year at the most and it already needs to be replaced. The flag is frayed and torn along the stitching at the bottom. It's a shame because it is a really nice flag that represents my Marine Corps pride. I would rate 2 1/2 stars but that is not possible so it gets 3.

I ordered this for my husband for Christmas to replace our current flag, which had worn over the years. It was perfect- very high quality and at a great price. The flag arrived quickly, and the personal "thank-you" on the invoice was a nice touch. Our son is currently serving in Afghanistan, and this is a great way in which we honor and remember him and all his fellow Marines. Semper Fi!

Great craftmanship of the flag. The embroidery is high quailty and i love that it is reversable so I can make sure that the anchor is facing inboard no matter where I hang it. I am a pround Marine Veteran and this flag symbolizes that perfectly!!I would highly recommend this product
