This thing is a tank. My son has broken three phones and finally he ordered the military case. It's crazy heavy but he likes that as it makes his phone seem more substantial. He's still dropped his phone a dozen times but the difference is, it continues to work. Now if you drop this on your toe, you might hate it...your toe may not function properly but your phone will...so you'll be able to call for help.

I had a similar case from another company that I loved. Eventually the cover for the charger ripped and I couldn't keep it in the slot. But for the price it lasted quite well. This one I have had water get inside the case a few times already. It was not dropped in water or anything that should have gotten water inside the case. The last one had a much snugger fit. I am going to go back and find the first company I ordered from for another one. This is still great for protecting from drops!

Loved the case, seemed durable since you had to screw it together, and very heavy. I especially liked it when my puppy grabbed the phone and took it outside in the snow as a chew toy. Got it back from her with a couple of scratches but the phone works fine. Then it came to charging. I had to trim the rubber to get the charger to fit. If I didn't have to do that, it would have been 5 stars.

The case is great. Only problem the little red cover for the aux hole broke as soon as I tightened the screws down. Also had to cut the hole so that my apple issued charger would fit

This product is very heavy and the black paint started to chip off after two days. Plus I didn't like that I had to take it off to charge my phone do to the fact that the charging cable is bigger than the space given to put the charger in. I highly regret buying this product.

Before you purchase this, you need to know that, this is an enclosed case and access to any buttons will be slightly difficult. This is the same when one uses the Otterbox cases. I have been using Otterbox cases all the time and I have accept the fact that these are the drawback that you will need to sacrifice for better protection. It really depends on how much you care about your phone, some folks could care less and rather just risk them breaking so people can see what phone they are using, but for me, I really could care less what phone it is, they all function the same mostly today :)I like the case very much, it's sturdy, well built, smooth surface and comes with a tempered glass screen protector. If I have to ding it, it would be the charging port. You won't be able to use them comfortably with the factory cable which have a smaller 30-pin port than the older iPod. I was fortunate enough to have a standing charger that protrudes (https://www.amazon.com/iHome-Stereo-Compatible-Lightning-Connector/dp/B008HFCI50/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1452194116&sr=8-2&keywords=iHome+ipod) and thus I don't have any issue with charging the phone. This Case is pretty good except for one thing.I bought this case because I wanted to have ultimate protection for the iPhone 4 I bought on eBay for around $50. I bought this case to try it out and I am very happy at the protection it offers and seems it would be very protective if I drop the phone and protect my purchase.The reason I gave it two stars though is because like others have stated the charging port cut out is just way to small for the charging cable to fit. I tried with all my might to fit my charger in the port but no go as I have been unsuccessful with it. If I were the product designer I would relook at the charging port design to fix it so that cables actually fit in.Overall I would say this case is very protective but with the charging port being too small I can only give it 2 stars.*I received this product for a discount in exchange for an honest unbiased review.

The product comes in a decently packaged but this case could probably take most of those shocks and damages. Opening the package you receive:-the case which consists of - rubber inner inner layer - metal casing for the backside half of the phone - metal casing for the frontside half of the phone - few detachable parts like the headphone port and the charging port- cloth to clean the screen- 2 extra screws- tool to remove screws or to screw inFirst off let me say this case is close to overkill for protection. This case beats otterboxes for protection. It's essentially like giving your phone a tank like armor which is nice for a person who constantly drops their phone a lot. Installing the case into your phone is fairly simple. This case does not latch on. It requires the use of the allen wrench provided in the package and there are 6 screws around the phone. The only sort of issue I had with this case is the charging port. It's not as though you are unable to charge the phone with the case but the case does require a thin charging cable, but you can also buy a charging extender so it is much easier to access the charging port. All in all, this case is definitely heavy duty.
