extraordinary
UPDATED REVIEW (Nov 2022):The first times we purchased this it was $39.99, then jumped to $59.99, and now $64.98. It is a luxury item but worth it if you can afford it. The $20-$25 price jump squeezed us out of buying it, but I understand price depends on harvest, price of transport, price of paying workers, etc. I understand. So if you can afford it, this stuff is pretty amazing.UPDATED REVIEW:A bottle of this lasts us about 6 months. We have purchased this two additional times since my original review. I am about to purchase a 4th bottle. This stuff is AMAZING. Paired with a light avocado oil or high quality olive oil, this makes the BEST dressing on salads. This vinegar is worth it!ORIGINAL REVIEW:Wow. This has a nice flavor. I think my favorite way we have used it was to marinate some grassfed sirloin steaks in this and some avocado oil with fresh ground himalayan salt & fresh ground rainbow peppercorns. We then broiled them in the airfryer. Simple ... but the flavor was extraordinary and the vinegar in the marinade made them so SO tender. Hubs agreed that the flavor was extra good.We have used balsamic before, we already had an Aldi's brand in the cabinet, but this brew went above and beyond how it should taste. So excellent. It is better because it is all the good stuff. No wine vinegar mixed it. Unadulterated. And updating my original review ... we are half way through our bottle and this is hands down the best balsamic vinegar I have ever had. I need to get over the sticker shock and think about getting another bottle because it is so worth it!

NOT kosher certified as advertised
This item is advertised as kosher certified but there is no certification on the bottle. I cannot use it and it is not eligible for return. I would like my money back please. False advertising, very disappointed.

Amazing!
This is not the balsamic vinegar from the grocery store shelves. Before tasting this product I would have said that I did not care for balsamic vinegar. Now, I realize that I had no idea what real balsamic vinegar was like. It takes about two drops of this product on a morsel of food to completely enhance the flavor. Somehow it brings out a new flavor in everything that I have tried it with.Suggested uses for this product are as a salad dressing with olive oil or with certain meats. Being vegan, there is no meat in this house so after salads, we decided to try the balsamic on Brussels sprouts first. Wow...amazing how a drop or two enhanced the sprouts. Since, we have been experimenting and have yet to try anything that is not enhanced by this vinegar. This is indeed a precious item with a hefty price but it only takes a tiny bit to make a difference on a food so it will indeed go a long way. I was curious enough about this product that I had to watch some videos to learn more. YouTube offers a couple videos that explain the lengthy process it takes to create a bottle of this vinegar. The bottle comes with a nice gift box which includes a few ideas on use.

Darling bottle
Well I got it at a discounted price and was very curious. I’ve had amazing balsamic vinegar before and this one is ok. It’s very thin and has a chemical flavor to it. I don’t know if I put it in the back of a cupboard for a couple of years if it’ll help but I’m going to give it a try and see if it’ll smooth out some. I’m use to a thicker smoother almost savory sweet flavor from balsamic vinegar and this one isn’t quite there. Love the bottle.

Flavor Enhancer
I love to use balsamic vinegar on a nice bed of greens to enhance the flavor. I also use it on roasted or grilled vegetables and meats - the versatility of this high quality vinegar is endless! It comes packaged safely in a nice box that speaks of its quality right up front, and it doesn't disappoint at all. The stopper is easy to use, and seals it for freshness. The vinegar isn't watery like some I have tasted are - but has the perfect consistency for a quality aged vinegar. Because it's higher in price than what I usually use, I don't use it every day, but it is a treat when I do. I recommend this vinegar overall.

Exquisite!
I have always enjoyed balsamic vinegar but this is the king of balsamic! It has a deep, tangy, strong flavor that pears so well with a variety of things, my favorite is probably strawberries, and because it is so rich just a little of it goes a long way. If you think you don't like balsamic vinegar than you need to try this! It would be a wonderful addition to a meal prepared for a loved one and really elevates your cooking, even if you just use it with a quality olive oil for a salad dressing. It is like balsamic concentrate and the flavor is intense. Wonderful stuff!

Deep, rich and sweet flavour.
This balsamic vinegar is definitely worth gifting to somebody, it's not something you would use every day due to the quality and price of the product. Definitely something that you could put in a hamper. The item is packaged very nicely in its own box. The bottle is a good size and has a cork style bottle cap that can be easily removed by hand.I found this balsamic vinegar to be a lot more flavourful and definitely sweeter than what you would usually buy at the shops. I find some brands of balsamic can have quite harsh flavours or be unbalanced in flavour. This one, however, is definitely balanced and isn't harsh at all. I have tried it both cooked and raw and it feels like a different product in both occasions whilst still holding the nice flavours and sweetness of the balsamic vinegar. I personally think it is better enjoyed raw in a salad or drizzled over some hard Italian cheese as a fancy entrée. When cooked, it is very nice too and adds a new depth to the dish which is fantastic.Overall, I didn't know what to expect from such an expensive, delicatessen balsamic vinegar of Modena but I was surprised by how delicious it was. It is not something I would buy every week but definitely a nice treat now and then and definitely gift-worthy for somebody who really enjoys cooking and wants to experiment with a premium ingredient.
