Review: New boot goofin' 😉👍 - I'm big on this military style boot because I like the ankle support, and they're easy to get on and off with the addition of the zipper down the side. As such, I've bought a number of pairs of them over the years. To me its hard to find a better shoe to work in, especially when you're on your feet nearly 16 hours a day, 7 days a week like I am. Theres a reason we issue them to the boys out there fighting for our freedom I figure, right? If they're good enough for the Marines, gotta be good enough for me. And these boots are definitely good enough! I've had them nearly a month now I think, and I've been putting off writing a review to really test them out and see how well they hold up as advertised. And for a boot thats cheaper than most name brand tennis shoes, these things are absolutely awesome. My last pair were made by Reebok, cost about $100 dollars more, and lasted me the same as most boots have (roughly a year). The biggest difference between the Reebok boot and this boot, is that this boot is not steel toe. But the Reeboks weren't waterproof, and man am I impressed with the water proofing on this boot... Especially considering these are cheaper than a new pair of Nike tennis shoes. I specifically waited for a large rain storm to roll in before reviewing these so I could test the water proofing. I've added a picture above. Stood out in the rain in a substantial puddle for maybe two minutes to see if water was going to seep in just for this review! lol. My feet are still dry as a bone! So they definitely function as advertised! They look great, although I'm not huge on the faux leather deal at the top of the ankle. But beyond that they look almost identical to the reeboks, and the ankle portion is usually covered by my tactical pants anyway, so whatever. They also fit soooo much better than the Reeboks did when I bought them, and without added insoles at that! The Reebok insoles wore out on me in maybe 3 months, it was ridiculously quick. Like I said, I'm in them and working vastly more than I'm not, so buying insoles has become relatively common for me. Plus, I'm slightly flat footed, so they help keep my arches from constantly falling as well. But so far I've neither felt the need to buy insoles, nor had any adverse effects from using the included insole. My arches havent fallen, and my feet feel great. My foot is on the narrow side though, and it seems to me these boots are too. Which is good for me, they fit perfectly and that helps with comfort. But if you have a wide foot maybe consider going up half a size and see how that works for you. desertcart's return policy is good enough that if they don't fit, its no big deal. Drop them back off at a UPS store and order a new pair when you get refunded the next day, yah know? No harm no foul. To me, these things felt great from the moment I put them on though. There wasn't much need to break them in like other military boots I've bought. Usually you're in for a rough week the first week after you buy a pair. They never seem to have the "give" you need them to when you first buy them, but that wasn't a problem with these boots at all. I was pleasantly surprised to find them significantly more comfortable than my last couple pairs of boots from the jump. I was actually on desertcart about to purchase another pair of the Reeboks when I found these and man am I glad I saved the extra $100 bucks. You simply can not beat the value on these boots. They fit true to size, have great support, they're comfortable, and they have great water proofing capabilities. I'll definitely be back in another year or so to repurchase these bad boys. Review: Great work boot - My husband works construction and is on his feet non stop for 12 hrs a day. He was talking about some boots he had several years ago that were so comfortable, they felt like tennis shoes. So we searched desertcart and found them again! Ordered them straight away, they arrived within a few days and he loves them. Very comfortable and made well enough to last at least thru the year. Highly recommend. Fit is true to size and he purchased the wide fit 10.5

Good looking pair of boots
A good pair of boots they are. They are worth the money you spend on them, the boots are true size fit, the zipper closes and opens no problem, and there not that heavy.

Durable, Comfortable, Inexpensive
Got these to start work in corrections. Several months in and still comfortable and holding up well. I’m able to stand for long periods of time without any severe pain or discomfort. A set of inserts may help a little bit, but for a pair of work boots under $45, they are pretty nice. The zip up sides are nice for easy on and off. A shoe horn may be desired, though. I still rub my heal on the inside and am concerned that I’m going to wear through the heel like I do on many of my other, regular shoes.

Reliable boots. Well made.
I can’t lie, these boots are “ALL” day comfortable! Being side zippers makes them easy to put on and easy to take off! This is my second winter in these. I’ve taken care of them and they have taken care of me!

Adequate, doubtful for harsh conditions
Thought I’d try these because of the low price, you never know. Ordering process was easy, arrived in good condition, fit fine and are comfortable. 3 stars for durability and “get what you pay for” quality. I’ve obviously gotten much better durability in boots that cost more. Are they bad…nope. Are they awesome…nope. Do they work…yep.

High quality boots
Amazing boots. They work for just about anything. Plus extremely comfortable. For a while I stopped tennis shoes and wore just those. Originally it was gonna be part of a costume for Halloween, but after trying them on I got addicted to them. Very walkable, good in snow, can keep your feet warm, plus my big toes have room to move without having to hit the front. Finally they were so flexible I was able to play street style basketball in a gym with no issues.
