Femdom for Nice Girls: A Self-Guided Manual for the Caring Mistress

I have recently been introduced to the world of FemDom and FLR, and found myself at a point in my life where I know absolutely nothing about functioning in this type of relationship, but what I have experienced I love the nature of this lifestyle. So I headed online to learn as much as I could, including of course checking Amazon's book options. I came across this manual and thought it looked alright so I bought. I tend to lose interest in things easily if they don't include some interactive component, which Mistress Fairbourne's manual does with it's worksheet sections. I did find that the worksheets are geared more for an established couple embarking upon this journey rather than the new single Domme, but none the less the information is good, to the point, and allows exploration of the Domme's feelings regarding this journey. It is an easy read, though densely packed with plenty of information. I think if I had to choose just one book as a new Domme seeking guidance, I would pick her book.

I picked this up for some research on a book project--and, I'll confess, out of prurient curiosity--and found it an easy and informative read. Not super-detailed, but a good introduction to the topic if you're looking for ideas--whether in fiction or, presumably, real life!

I have not read it yet, but very interested, my wife just started reading it and she is finding it a curious and very interesting read. I'm looking forward to reading it.

Exceptionally well thought out and written and proofed for errors (I don't really recall any and they always catch my eyes). Very well suited for a hopeful submissive to give to a hoped for Mistress. It is so well done that it will be appreciated for any in their first few years of involvement. My margin comment on the 5th page of text: "Exceptionally well written. It IS about serving and pleasing the Mistress." On the 7th page of text I inked in: "Author IS intelligent." I so rarely do that. There are better, more in depth books for later on, but this is a great book to start with.

Is the exact book I needed to read when I decided to dip my toe into Domination! I recommend it to any woman wanting to enter the Dom world!

The first chapter on 'boons' (erotic favors) had some good thoughts. I didn't get much at all out of the chapters on quests/tasks, punishment, or especially role play. The orgasm control was well wrotten and thoughtful. The idea to write reflections is especially well done. The author over-emphasizes punishments in my opinion. If this is for 'nice' girls they simply are not going to be comfortable with that, and frankly neither am I. Not into that sort of play.I took the ideas and ranked them for my wife to get what I thought of them.1. Exciting-let's do that.2. Interesting- open to trying it.3. Uncomfortable- discuss and negotiate.4. Unlikely- probably not!5. Distasteful-crosses a hard limit for me. No way!Just sayin'

This book is fantastic! And for the price, it's 1/3 the cost of others, yet 300% better!! I've read some of the others and they are too simplistic and lacking the psychological depth that Lucy brings out in this read. If you are a guy and want your woman to understand how you feel about submission, this is absolutely the manual to give her!
