Spank Spoon Bar

I really like everything about these bars. I accidentally ordered two bars instead of the one I intended. I put them on my new eMTB and like them so much I put the others on my HT rather than returning them. I will say I'm an older rider whos neck doesn't appreciate being craned up for hours. The 60m of rise and well as the slight swept up and back end puts me in an ideal body position.

FREE MUD GUARD! The packaging for these bars is a mud guard! I love that idea, free surprise gift, and makes the packaging very useful and not wasteful at all. The bars themself are great too. More sweep than I realized, but I’ll get use to it. Put them on my DJ and the 60 mm rise is perfect.

Coming from motocross I'm used to riding with high rise bars. The stock 760mm width x 5mm riser bar that came with my 29er MTB was too low for my riding style. It felt as if the bike will do an endo or a stoppie whenever I hit the front brakes. I tried a 20mm and a 30mm riser bar which improved my riding position but still felt a little low for my taste. This Spank Spoon 40R riser bar made a huge difference. The 40mm rise doesn't feel as if riding an oversized BMX, while the 5°up-sweep and 9°back-sweep angles are just right that my arms and wrists are positioned correctly. The increase in width to 785mm made the bike less twitchy as well.

Love these bars! Went from a factory 720mm to the Spank 785mm and it’s the perfect width for me (I’m 6’3”). Nice upgrade to my cockpit. Came well packaged and met expectations. Even came with a front fender (which I Wasn’t expecting and ended up damaging a little on the first ride in crash)! But it’s a good, budget-friendly upgrade for your bike.

Absolutly perfect handle bars! Im 6'2 and these bars come 785mm wide. After i put my ergon ge1 grips on the bars measure 800 wide and that was exactly what i was hoping for! I also ordered the matching 40mm spank spoon stem. Perfect combo all for an affordable price!

I put these on my Daughter's 27.5 mountain bike. She loves the bike, but did not like being bent over the bars so much. These were just what she needs. Now she is happy with her cockpit and says she is way more comfortable. She liked them so much, I bought another set for my Son's bike.

Arrived quickly. Exactly what I ordered. Affordable way to test geometry before committing to a carbon bar. For me this is perfect. The fender is an added bonus. Heard a rock bounce off it today!

I like that these bars give you options for making your bike fit better. With my body type I always struggle to get my bar up to seat height or higher when building a mountain bike. This bar helps the process immensely. Reasonably light and it seems plenty stiff.
