This strap made THE difference in helping my tendon/ligament heal around my elbow ( I had an injury to my elbow then lifted something heavy too soon). I hurt for one month - couldn't turn my car keys in the ignition or lift light items without pain shooting from my elbow to my wrist. I went to the doctors and was told to purchase an elbow brace and use my anti-inflammatory medication more often to give it time to heal. I purchased this one because it has a velcro strap that could be adjusted to fit better on one side plus the strap used to attach it firmly to my arm. I'll admit it took some adjustment time. Sometimes I put it on too tight and it hurt or I didn't get it right on the belly of the muscle it's meant to support. I had to make adjustments. After a week of wearing it, I figured out the best spot on my arm and how tight it needed to be to give support without cutting off circulation. I still did things I shouldn't - like washing dishes and lifting too heavy grocery bags which slowed the healing process. Eventually I got better at using my left hand and allowing my right to do minimal work. I have been using this for a month now and the sharp pain is gone. I'm on the mend :)

I've used these types of bands before for a bout with tennis elbow. The band pictures has a round pad to press on the tendon and can be put on with one hand because of the cinch type strap.The one I received is completely NOT what is pictured. Can not be put on with one hand. And OMG it has a horrible odor. I actually had to put it outside is smelled so bad. Has a very factory chemical smell!!!Do not buy!!!

I just got thus item and tried it out . It is not made for a small or petite arm. Very cheaply made. I would not recommend this for anyone other than a thick arm. Buying another brand for a petite arm.

Like many reviewers, I did not receive what is pictured. Does it exist? Instead I actually got a runner knee strap - it's identical to the one I ordered from this same seller, but at twice the price here. I tried it as an elbow strap for a while, but it's too difficult to use and doesn't work well. It's ok as a runner's knee strap, but not for the arm. It was returned for a refund.

The armband has a very strong petroleum odor. The odor did not go away with when I washed it. It is difficult to fit onto my small arm.

Does not work at all. Physical therapist said to sleep with the brace on my wrist keep it straight and that fix the problem hundred percent . 😊 I'm sure it's different for everyone but mine is caused because I curl my wrists in my sleep and overwork them in the daytime

It is cheap but it works well. I am a mechanic and ride mountain bike as much as I can and my "tennis elbow" really acts up a lot. This help me relax that arm a bit and not feel that piecing pain
