Slumber party fun!
The girls had a great time with these. There are pages that are set up like truth or dare, where you fill in (verb) like a (animal), and then the girls use this as a dare. I thought that was really clever! The girls did a bunch of pages, so this is kid approved too!

Granddaughter fun!!
I traveled to see my three granddaughters and we had the best time with these mad Libs. It brought me back to my youth and I loved the quality time and laughter we shared together.

Fun essential for a sleepover party.
These are great to bring a group together at a sleepover. Fun and creative, kids can come up with fun stories that use the imagination and educational skills. Kids can come up with clever ideas that keep them away from their phones and bring lots of good old fashioned fun.

~ This was a HUGE hit at Christmas. Can't go wrong with this as a gift! ~
I purchased a couple of these for my nieces for Christmas and they were a hit. Even my daughter, who is married with kids of her own now, still LOVES to do these, so she was excited to see the nieces each got one. I purchased this one, "Sleepover Party Mad Libs" Sleepover Party Mad Libs and "Dog Ate My Mad Libs" Dog Ate My Mad Libs , since our other niece just got a new puppy recently, so that one was perfect for her. Honestly, you can't go wrong with any of them. These are even a great reminder for me, refreshing my knowledge of the parts of speech, so I am better able to help them with their homework, if necessary. These were a much appreciated gift and I will certainly purchase more Mad Libs for gifts in the future. They're ALWAYS a huge hit!!

Fun, silly retro game
I have great memories of doing Mad Libs with my siblings as a kid, so I bought these for my seven year old daughter. I get a kick out of watching my kids do these retro sort of games that I used to enjoy. She loves this one! It's one of those activities where she tries to do the entire book the first day because she thinks it's so silly and fun She didn't know the terminology at first (adjective, adverb, proper noun, etc.) because they haven't covered that in school, but she picked it up by the end of the first page or two. I wouldn't recommend this for a kid any younger than seven, even if they can read pretty well, because the difficulty is more about knowing the grammar terminology.

Kids love it!
12 year old niece loves it! It was funnier watching her laugh so hard as she tried to read it than the actual story they made.

Great for language arts
I was trying to find an innovative way to help my 3rd grader "enjoy" parts of speech through games, and I remembered that Mad Libs was one of my favorite things to do as a kid - so I bought a few. The Junior ones are too easy for anyone trying to learn the proper names for parts of speech (they use symbols) so get the ones that are not marked Kid or Junior. These are perfect, though. Your child (or with friends, etc.) fill out the list at the top of the page with verbs, nouns, adjectives, adverbs, etc and then populate the spaces in the story and read aloud. It's always a hoot. We will be getting more - just be sure to peek at a few pages in the Look Inside - some Mad Libs are marked "adult" for more adult stories and content. This one is fine for elementary schoolers.

I love the way it keeps your brain thinking
I got this book and was writing for days. I love the way it keeps your brain thinking, but is ridiculously fun and silly at the same time. As an only child it is very entertaining. I take it school, play with my parents and also on my own. I recommend it for anyone smart but also looking for fun. Even if your not that smart I still recommend it as it gives an explanation at the beginning of the book of Nouns, Verbs, Adjectives and so on. This is one of the best presents from my grandparents and I recommend it for anyone within the age of 6-100!!! There ones for adults, junior ones and normal ones. Happy reading!!! 😝

Stealth education, hilarious family fun
British people aren't as familiar with Mad Libs as Americans, many of whom are 2nd generation "Mad Libbers" but it's an amazingly fun way to educate children and expand their vocabulary whilSt also passing time in airports, cars, restaurants, etc. We can't get enough of them!
