The included CD is not for the third edition of the book! It has 3rd edition printed on the CD, but the material is all for the second edition (including second edition logos!). Thus, most of the chapter exercises are useless since they don't match the datasets on the CD. I have ordered two new copies of the third edition, and both have the same problem. Nor will Pearson correct the problem. I contacted their customer support line, and they insist that it is Amazon's problem.I can't believe that no one has mentioned this. It makes me suspicious of the other reviews. There is no way that a reviewer could have actually used the book, since this problem would have been completely obvious if you were really using the textbook.

This book was required along with MyStatLab online. Both the book and the online portion are HORRIBLE.i have a background in math and engineering, and the book made no explanations on the practical use in solving problems, other than "use technology to solve this problem".....what a f***ing joke!!!!

Very insightful and straight to the point

The insides is in good condition, Al the pages are there and it came with the CD. The MyStatLab code was used as expected. If you need the code buy it separately and rent the book, it is still cheaper than buying the new book.

The book is in very good condition and arrived with the attached CDs.

My stats teacher raves about it. Seems fine to me, but I'm just learning this stuff.
