I bought this more as a joke than something I thought I would use. I was pleasantly surprised, like when a really beautiful girl turns out to have a lot of money as well. The straps themselves are higher quality than those Chums you see at the gas station, and the opener, while not made out of some fantastic metal like Rearden Metal, is definitely not the cheap, flimsy bottle opener that one finds at the local liquor store.Anyway, so these turned out to be very useful. I went to a birthday party the other day filled with friends and their kids, and while they had beer, and wine, and a bit of vodka, they neglected to have enough bottle openers on hand. This birthday party, by the way, was for a guy that would drink all day in college so if anyone should have bottle openers, it's him, but apparently having kids makes you lose all your bottle openers and/or sense of hospitality.And I'm not skilled enough to open a bottle with another bottle, or with a quarter, so these came in very handy. All those kids running around made me reach for a beer. And another. Some guy had a bottle opener in his flip flops but that just seemed so peasant-like. An opener on your Ray-Bans or on your feet... McLaren F1 or a Kia Sorento. Not a hard choice.Though you might be called "cheeky" by those around you. Which isn't necessarily a bad thing.

The bottle opener is too heavy.

I love my Gobi Straps!!! They were perfect for my weekend away. Not only are they cute, but they are convenient! I mean, first I took the sunglass strap hiking with me; then after our hike, I was able to use the bottle opener to crack open our celebratory beers! So great. I also took them along while floating the river. They are super easy to use and practical for any adventure! To top it off- they shipped out quickly and arrived to my house the next day! I would totally recommend Gobi Straps to all!

These Sunglass straps are awesome. I bought these when I came across them as I thought they were very unique. They completely exceeded my expectations. The last BBQ I went to people were blown away when I opened my beer with my Sunglass straps. I was surprised by how high quality they are for the price.
