This is well constructed and and lends itself well to function and made with great form.

Just a real jewel! As good as GB at a lower price, excellent craftsmanship, perfectly ground and polished edge, almost shaving sharp. I use it for carving treenware and it works beautifully.

Probably good as is for a general use camping axe. I wanted to use it for carving so I reground the edge. Now it shaves wood very well.

Was a little concerned about shipping from Japan? But was very happy with my purchase! Tracking leaves a lot to be desired!

Por ejemplo, podar ramas o partir y cortar troncos más pequeños y trozos de leña más pequeños para la chimenea. Y un envío internacional muy rápido y sin complicaciones desde Japón.

I ordered this mini axe several weeks ago then modified it to suit me. The stock axe is great as it comes from the factory, razor sharp and ready to go. It is a lot of quality Swedish axe for the money. These Hults Bruk (Hultafors) boys know their products because they have been making axes since 1697. I added some mods to suit my personal likes. I added a leather collar, different mask and I wrapped the lower handle with tennis racquet leather tape to give a better grip when wet. This axe, stock or modded, is perfect to throw in a ruck sack or pack to head out for a day or a week. I saw a guy on YouTube cut down a 7-8 inch tree with this stock Hultafors mini hatchet. And it’s great for firewood prep making small log splitting and feather sticks alike with ease. This will do just about everything a much larger axe can do, it just might take a little longer.

ハチェットをコレかハスクか森かで悩みましたが、悩んだ時は一番高いものをと言う先人の教えに倣い意を決して入手しましたが、正解だったようです。 何処をとっても作りの良さしか感じません。 鏡面のような刃付けや、亜麻仁油で良く煮込まれて色付いたヒッコリーの柄、固く分厚いバッファローレザーのシース。 先任のハスクの手斧より200グラムほどヘッドが軽く、長さも3分の2程なので取り回しはかなり軽く感じます。 刃付けが鋭いのもあって、広葉樹でも直径15センチ程度のコナラの薪ならスパッと行けました。 まぁそれでも節があったり、樫とかは難しいでしょうねぇ… シースはリベット止めですが、ちゃんと刃のカバー的に間に中子の革が一枚入っているので、結構安心できる作りだと思います。 ハスクと違い、ヘッド全体を覆ってくれるシースなので良いですね。固定用の革紐はかなり固く、ねじれていたりしますので、ミンクオイル等を使いながら気長に柔らかくしていくか、他の素材に置き換えるのもアリかと思います。 今、なるべく機能性を落とさずに手持ちのアイテムをコンパクトにしようとしている最中ですが、良いモノを見つけられました。
